"What exactly is going on? Why did you jump from the second floor?" William asked Jane.

Jane glanced at Jack who had caught up with her. Jack glared at her as a threat not to open her mouth. However, Jane was no longer afraid of the hotel manager. In the end, she would still be fired. At least she had tried. After all, she felt that William was a good man. He helped her when she fell, even though he knew that it was very dangerous because it could have broken his arm.

Jack immediately stepped forward and answered William's question to prevent Jane from opening her mouth, "She was cleaning the glass divider, sir. Apparently, she slipped and fell."

William's gaze was fixed on Jane. "Is that so?"

Gregori looked at Jane and Jack in turn. Gregori's strong instincts were convinced that something was going on between the two people. He immediately whispered to William.

"Something's not right here like I said before," Gregori whispered.

"He," Jane pointed at Jack, "is trying to harass me."
