Ronald, who was not far from the scene of the dispute, approached William and Andre. "Why are you fighting here? Don't you realize that you're ruining the image of this restaurant?"

Andre immediately bowed to Ronalad. "I'm sorry, Sir. I only reprimanded William because a customer complained about his service. It seems like he had some problems with his girlfriend, so he wasn't really concentrating on his work. Maybe he should just take a break, let me do his work."

Everything Andre said was a lie, but Ronald seemed to believe it.

Tom also stood up and moved to see the state of Selena's cream-colored dress which was reddish from the wine.

William was so angry that his hair was on fire. But, he realized his position as a servant. "I apologize."

Selena looked at her hands in front of her chest. "Apologize? You think by apologizing, my dress will be clean again?"

"I can't believe this restaurant employs someone as incompetent as him," Tom said. "And I can't believe you lived with him. How could you stand staring at his ugly face every day, Darling?"

Selena rolled her eyes. "I lost my appetite looking at his face. I didn't even know someone like him could work in this expensive restaurant."

William didn't understand why Selena was insulting him now. Just because she had a new rich boyfriend didn't mean that the year they had spent together was gone, right?

Tom took Selena's hand. "Come on, darling, we'd better find a place to eat where the waiter is better than this place."

"Customer, I apologize for the negligence of my staff. Don't leave yet. As an apology, I will ask another waiter to reserve our VIP room for you," Ronald said, trying to hold Selena and Tom back.

"No need, if I want to eat in the VIP room of this restaurant, I already did. I don't want to eat in a restaurant that doesn't know how to choose waiters," Tom refused.

Selena grabbed Tom's arm. "Come on, Darling. I'm going to throw up when I see that trashy man's face."

William's chest thundered at Selena's words. The man she called trash had once made her life.

"Follow me!" Ronald commanded William, then quickly stepped from the dine-in room.

When they were in the kitchen, where there were only restaurant employees, Ronald immediately slapped William.

"You bastard! Not only did you break an expensive wine, you also made this restaurant lose a potential customer."

William stood straight on the spot. He just clenched his jaw to stifle the sting on his cheeks.

"Look, that wine cost $20,000. You think a poor guy like you can replace it?"

"I'm sorry, Sir. I won't do it again. I'll try to pay for it with my salary."

"You think this is a charity foundation? I don't want to know, tomorrow you have to bring the money. Otherwise, I will report you to the police. Also, starting tonight you are no longer a waiter in this restaurant. You can only make a loss."

"Trash like you belongs here," said Andre.

Steve laughed, then spat and hit William's hand. "Get out of here! You stink like a rat."

Being dumped by Selena and losing his job didn't seem to be enough to subvert William, now when he arrived at the front of the apartment, his belongings were already outside. And Carol, the owner of the apartment, was standing waiting for him.

"I've been waiting for two weeks, but you haven't paid the rent. I've been patient enough, but this is the limit. Pay now or get out of here!"

"Didn't Selena already pay it? She said she paid this month's rent."

So far, William had always paid the rent directly to Carol. However, before going on vacation, Selena asked for the rent and said that she would pay it to Carol.

Thinking that his cell phone system was requesting an update, William agreed to it. However, after he approved the installation of the system a bright light suddenly appeared. When he opened his eyes, he was in a room made of holograms.
