Corpse

Raizel with a different aura, eyes glowing like flames, jaw tightened with a deep, chilling voice that was very intimidating, "You must die!"

The chief thug opened his mouth to reply to Raizel's words. However, no sound came out and only the movement of the open mouth like a glass cleaner fish.

"Nonsense!" cursed Yu. His consciousness back, he tried to think logically it raised the dagger. Then, he ran towards Raizel to stab him a second time.

Raizel raised the corner of his lips, he moved one step to the side with his arms extended straight ahead. He grabbed Yu's neck, lifting him effortlessly until Yu's legs were floating in the air a few centimeters.

"L-let me g-go!" said Yu wearily. His neck was strangled so tightly, even he began to have trouble breathing. However, he continued to struggle while swinging the dagger to hurt Raizel's hand. Yu hoped that if Raizel's hand was injured, he could break free from the hold.

"Ha ha, stop it! Your efforts are just making me amused!" Raizel chuckled, as Yu's slash did not hurt him at all. He gripped Yu's neck more firmly while laughing out loud regardless of the tense atmosphere around him.

The chief thug walked backwards followed by his two men. The three of them trembled with their eyes not leaving Raizel. One of them fell to his knees as he watched Yu go limp, dropping the dagger to the floor.

"R-run away!" exclaimed the Thug Chief who could finally make a sound. He turned his face in sync with the footsteps to turn around and leave.

"I won't let you escape, you bastards!" exclaimed Raizel angrily. He threw Yu's body at the leader of the thugs to stop them in their tracks.

They all fell to the floor crushed by Yu's body groaning in pain. The bald man cried, he couldn't move and begged Raizel for forgiveness, "Please don't kill me! I have to take care of mom at home."

Raizel was busy paying attention to his body, at this time he felt incredible energy, fast self-healing, alert vision. Thus ignoring the words of the bald man. Raizel exclaimed to himself, "Ahh, I just remembered! Is this the power I got from Gumiho?"

The chief thug and his men looked at each other. One of them responded to Raizel's statement, he shook his head in disbelief, "Gumiho? The legend of the nine-tailed fox in thousands of years is still alive?"

Raizel's attention was distracted, he stared at the thug like he had forgotten something. Raizel said with a grin, "Wow, there's a guinea pig to test my strength. This should be fun!"

The thug chief had no guts, he had seen Raizel's power didn't want to die in vain. He crawled closer to Raizel while pleading, "Forgive me, forgive us, sir. I deserve to be tortured, but please don't kill us."

"This is your precious object. We want nothing but lives. Please spare us," said the head thug who hurriedly picked up the jewelry box beside him and raised it with both hands, higher than his head.

"Dwikkoji Hanna," muttered Raizel, he snatched the jewelry box while staring down angrily. Raizel swung his leg back, then he kicked the thug chief in the chest with all his might until flames shot out of his toe.

The head thug's eyeballs nearly slipped out of place, bulging with quivering pupils, his mouth open and spewing fresh blood. His chest was hollowed out as one of Raizel's kicks sent his body flying, slamming into the wall and crashing through the iron gate of Raizel's house.

Because of Raizel's power, four of the thugs were blown away by the storm. They all lay helpless, shocked and terrified.

"Get the hell out of my house, you bastards!" cursed Raizel with up and down breathing as if he had lost a few percent of his energy. He who had not been able to control his power had accidentally released too much energy, leaving him exhausted.

"R-run away!" exclaimed the bald man forcing his body to stand up even though every time he stood up he fell down again, he kept trying.

All the thugs' men ran away without daring to look back again. None of them even cared about the thug leader's condition.

Meanwhile, Raizel was sweating, wiping his sweaty face with one hand. He muttered with a furrowed forehead, "My strength is incredible, but why am I so tired?"

The long night came to an end as well, the morning sunlight making its way through Raizel's door. He stared lazily at the door, then looked away when he saw the messy state of his house. Raizel muttered, "Gosh, it's morning already. I'm so sleepy."

Raizel turned his body over with a big yawn, then he stumbled towards the bed leaving the mess behind for a moment. Raizel opened the door to the room, seeing the bed before his eyes without a second thought flopped onto it.

"Ahh, my bed feels so comfortable," Raizel murmured with his eyes closed. Within seconds, he fell asleep.

The sun had risen fully, many residents around Raizel's house began their activities. The street in front of Raizel's house was quite busy with the various routines of its residents. One of them was leisurely walking their beloved dog.

There was a woman walking with an ordinary-looking pet dog. Suddenly the dog barked loudly as it approached Raizel's house. Even the dog couldn't calm down, it kept rebelling. She began to panic at the commotion it was causing. She gave the dog a warning, as if the dog could understand her, "Be quiet! Don't struggle, the leash will come off!"

"Why are you being so noisy all of a sudden!" The young woman grumbled, feeling awkward when other residents who were passing by were disturbed by her dog. She smiled bitterly while apologizing several times with her hands tightly holding her dog's leash.

However, the unthinkable happened. The dog's leash broke, and the dog ran towards Raizel's house.

"Ohh, my gosh! Blackie!" exclaimed the frightened young woman, holding her head anxiously. With no other choice, she chased after her dog before it made an even bigger mess.

"Blackie! Stop! Just watch out if you get caught, you'll be in a cage for a whole month!" threatened the young woman as she ran towards Raizel's house.

The young woman reduced her running speed, she was walking curiously when she saw her dog who had stopped barking, sitting at the inner gate of Raizel's house. She could catch a glimpse of him from the side of Raizel's house.

"Blackie found what?" murmured the young woman stopping in front of Raizel's gate. She was hesitant to enter Raizel's house, so she tried calling her dog from outside, "Blackie! Get out of there!"

"Come here, I'll give you some fresh beef. Come on, smart boy, come here!" the young woman coaxed. She looked down, trying to smile despite being annoyed by Blackie's behavior.

Five minutes had passed, but the young lady had failed to persuade Blackie. She didn't care anymore, she was angry as she walked quickly towards Raizel's house, "Watch out Blackie! I'll beat you up later!"

The young woman had already passed through the gate, she stopped beside Blackie and accidentally caught the bloodied body of the head thug with a hollow chest. Suddenly she screamed hysterically while closing her eyes, "Arggh! Th-there's a corpse!
