52 Bad Decisions

Leo stood under the rain without an umbrella as the undertakers placed Mr Jones' casket gently into his grave. The affair was grand and every one of any real influence was at the funeral. Leo could spot musicians, movie stars, business men, heirs, athletes et cetera all littered around.

He watched from afar as Helen threw in a shovel of dirt while crying before letting others do the same. Leo had refused to pour dirt but he had joined the undertakers to carry the casket most of the way.

Helen didn't have an umbrella over her head either and she shivered for some time under the rain before David swooped in and offered her his coat and held his umbrella over her head. She smiled at him which made Leo slightly angry. Her grandfather was barely in the ground and she was smiling with the guy who used her to blackmail him into getting him his job back.
