Home / Werewolf / I'M THE KING / Ursula Versus Lucas
Ursula Versus Lucas

Ursula was in a state of distress. She was already injured very badly. "Damn, I can't fight her! I'll die if I don't continue to fight," she whispered inwardly as she was cornered. He couldn't do anything with his weakened body.

The rain of punches made her feel the brunt of it. The woman finally got up, forcing herself to fight Lucas. Her fingernails looked sharp, then her fangs sharpened. Ursula ran then, attacking Lucas aimlessly.

"I won't let you kill us again, Lucas!" she swore. Her hand swung out, clawing at Lucas' stomach. Lucas just smiled as the wound wasn't too bad. But the blood that oozed from the wounds made Lucas strike back at Ursula.

He hit Ursula's chin until she was knocked away, and...

Thud.

Once again, the body caused the castle wall to shatter. "Aaauh!" She groaned in pain. The blood had already made the color of her clothes change.

"You insolent woman! How dare you hurt my body!" Lucas cursed in annoyance.

From a distance, Alex asked John to help Ursula. He didn't want his aunt to die at Lucas' hands. "John, when I attack the old man, you must immediately help Ursula's lips and get out of here!" Alex said with his plan.

John nodded. "Then, where should I take Aunt Ursula?"

"Take her as far away from here as possible?" said Alex, his eyes not leaving the figure of Lucas who continued to attack Ursula. His attack became ferocious when his stomach was wounded and bleeding. It was as if there was no mercy for Ursula.

"Yes, sir!"

"Now!" Alex ran over.

"What? Now? At least give me a signal first, sir!" protested John. He ran in the direction of Alex's order.

Ursula was almost out of breath, Lucas' fingers pressed tightly on her neck making the airflow smaller and smaller. Her nerves saw Alex and John who were heading towards her and Lucas.

"What's Alex doing here? Is that boy so stupid that he doesn't realize he's not fighting Lucas with ordinary strength?" Ursula's mind whispered.

Thump.

Alex managed to punch Lucas in the shoulder until the choke hold was released from Ursula's neck.

"JOHN... NOW!" shouted Alex. Ursula looked confused.

"What do you want?" asked Ursula.

"You'd better come with me now, it's Mr. Alex's order!" said John, then picked Ursula up, and carried her away from that place.

"Damn it! Who's interrupting my fun?" screeched Lucas in annoyance from under the rocks of the castle wall. Alex watched as John took Ursula away.

"Well done, John! Time for me to get out of here!"

But ....

"You've got nowhere to run, boy!" Unfortunately, Lucas' hands were faster than Alex's legs.

"Asshole!" grumbled Alex. He then picked up a rock and hit Lucas several times on the head, knocking him unconscious. Alex managed to escape, catching up with John.

In another place,

Gwen's house to be exact.

The girl sat down after placing a cup of tea for her grandmother. The two sat across from each other at the kitchen table.

"So, those werewolves often eat the farmers' livestock here, Grandma?"

Samantha nodded with a level gaze but still looked annoyed with Max. Then she sipped Gwen's tea.

The girl sighed.

"Why don't the villagers do anything, Gran? Trap it, for example. Or shoot them dead so that the werewolves will know the taste and no more disturbing our livestock!" Gwen said a little angrily. She cursed the actions of the werewolf who was none other than Max.

"They didn't die with the cheap bullets the villagers had. Besides, that werewolf looks different than usual!" Samantha remembered very well the fur of the werewolf she saw the other day. The werewolf she saw earlier had white fur with grayish-blue eyes. The two colors became one in the werewolf's eyeballs. In addition, Max was much calmer than the werewolf Samantha saw a week ago. Much more aggressive and murderous.

"Are you saying that other werewolves are eating our livestock and the villagers?" Gwen was quite surprised to hear that. But she was eager to hear the rest of Samantha's story.

The old woman nodded. "Their fur color is different. And the werewolf looked calmer even though its gaze was hungry and bloodthirsty. The other day, Grandmother saw that the werewolf was more aggressive, more savage, and had gray fur. Some villagers were killed by the wolf!" Samantha explained.

"WHAT?" Gwen squealed in shock. "And there was no action from the villagers at all, Gran?"

"We're afraid of being eaten by them, Gwen," Samantha said, sipping her tea again. The cold and the fear made her need something warm to calm down from the fear. "Like Grandma before, I almost died standing up when that werewolf came at me!" the old woman said, unable to lie about her feelings before. Her hands and feet were shaking, even though her loud voice sounded terrifying.

Gwen paused, her eyes wide. "I have to find a way to stop those werewolves from killing the villagers' livestock. And I don't want those damn werewolves killing the villagers until they're scared!" Gwen thought.

"What are you thinking, Gwen?" her grandmother asked. Gwen stopped her wild thoughts of planning to kill the werewolves that had ruined the peace of her village. Then she smiled at Samantha and shook her head.

"Don't ever plan anything to get rid of those werewolves if you don't want to die stupid, Gwen!" Samantha said firmly. She didn't want her only granddaughter to die at the hands of werewolves like the villagers.

Gwen had been living with her since she was five years old after her mother died from her stupidity of locking herself in a laboratory in the village hall.

Yes, Gwen's mother was a scientist. She was so smart that she got her Ph.D. very easily. But unfortunately, Gwen's mother died because she locked herself up for years doing useless research. Samantha herself doesn't know exactly what her daughter has been researching for years. This is because Gwen's mother never allowed Samantha to enter the laboratory.

"But, Grandma, they have to stop! Otherwise, it will endanger the villagers and us!" Gwen exclaimed. She didn't realize that she was afraid of the werewolves as well.

"Don't argue with me, Gwen. After your mother's death, I don't want to see you die as stupid as your stupid mother!" Samantha yelled as she stood up. Her eyes were glazed over. Showing that she didn't want to lose Gwen like her mother.

"B-but Grandma ....!"

"That's it! You better go to bed now, it's late. And don't think anything!" Samantha cut her off. "As for the werewolves, that will be a matter for Grandma and the villagers." Samantha looked annoyed. She left Gwen alone in the kitchen and went into her room.

She sat alone on the bed. Then, without prompting, her tears flowed as her memory forced her to recall how Gwen's mother had died. The circumstances were horrible, and the reality was so bitter. She had lost her only daughter to a moaning and bloodied body in the lab. She kept this incident from Gwen.

"You're stupid, Irene. You shouldn't have found out about those werewolves. If you had listened to me, maybe we could have gotten together, and you could have seen your only child grow up!" Samantah ranted in fear.

"You left me a long time ago because of your curiosity about werewolves. Now look, your son wants to follow in your stupid footsteps, Irene!" she babbled again. Her fingers continued to wipe away the tears that kept falling from her eyes.

Gwen heard her grandmother sobbing from the doorway of Samantha's room. "Grandma?" She called as she knocked on the door.

"Go to bed, don't mind, Grandma!" she shouted, wiping away the tears that were still falling.

Gwen paused, then snorted. Inevitably, she had to go to her room at her grandmother's command. "I'd better go to bed now," Gwen thought, ignoring her desire for a moment.
