When Sylvia and Seraphine got back to the Williams residence, Eric was still practicing martial arts. He had been at it all day, and Sylvia felt sorry for him.

She approached him and said, "Your mom has already returned to King City, but Seraphine is staying here in Salt City."

Eric stopped his practice and sneered. "Is she having Seraphine monitor me?"

"It's not my concern," Eric replied coldly. Nevertheless, he felt relieved when he heard that Grace had left.
