He picked out one of the photos from the stack and pointed, saying, "This person is their leader. He's the one who stabbed me."

Observing Eric's confident identification, one of the police officers asked, "Think carefully. Have you recently made any enemies? We reviewed the surveillance footage, and this group of thugs specifically targeted you, waiting for nearly an hour. It appears to be a planned and deliberate attack."

"A targeted attack?" Eric furrowed his brow. "I haven't offended anyone lately except for David Westman, the owner of Westman Technology. I can't think of anyone else I've offended."
