"Yes, yes, Miss..." Sally stammered in reply, and then immediately ran for the servants' quarters.

Luckily, though, the bleeding stopped, and Anna immediately stitched up several of Emile's wounds with amazing skill, then bandaged them. All this time Esme Crane was playing second fiddle and pressing Emile's pulse behind her ear, monitoring her vitals at all times.
