Deciding not to accord Mae any regard or attention of his, Danny faced Avery.

“Remember the chair we tied Blake to?”

Avery nodded. “Yes, what about it?”

“Mae can tie the bed sheet on it and lower it down. Then, we drop the things on it and it would be left to her stamina to get the items on the chair back up.” Danny supplied.

Avery tilted his head with eyes observing the distance from the window to below the ground.

The building was two-storeyed so, it shouldn't be much of a headache.

Finally, Avery spoke out. “Might work but I'm not betting on it.”

“It's the only option we have unless you can think of a better one.” Danny found himself snapping.

The corner of Avery’s eyes turned to him and then, “Easy, mate. I'm also hungry.”

This wasn't about food though, Danny thought to himself. He was only frustrated by all the drama and tension.

In about forty seconds, Avery yelled out the instructions to Mae and soon, she emerged with the chair and bed sheet.
