"When are you going back to town?" Ginna's question startled Bill.

After finishing dinner and chatting with Ginna's parents, Bill had said goodbye to get some fresh air. He sat on the edge of Ginna's father's fish pond and gazed up at the star-filled sky. The quiet country night felt very cozy to him.

"Surprised me," Bill muttered a little grumpily.

Ginna sighed and sat down next to Bill. Of course, Bill was a little surprised because Ginna seemed to avoid him before.

"How long are you going to bother my parents here?" Ginna repeated because Bill didn't answer her question.

"Annoying?" Bill turned his head while making an objectionable face. "Who's bothering your parents? They're not bothered at all, anyway."

Ginna gave him an annoyed glance while exhaling harshly again. Actually, if she wanted to be honest from the heart, Ginna actually felt that her parents were very happy with Bill's arrival. It had been a long time since their home had felt as lively as it had earlier.
