Looking for Bill

Anne and Miranda finally sat down at a bus stop. Joana chose to stand behind the two women so she could hear their conversation clearly.

"How annoying! Cold weather like this, the bus doesn't come." Anne grumbled resentfully. The middle-aged woman seemed to be rubbing her own arms from the cold. The temperature was dropping as it was already winter.

"Never mind, ma'am. Stop nagging." Miranda responded to her mother's nagging.

"Don't tell me to shut up! I'm still annoyed with you. How could you spend all your precious things to give to that jerk Alan! Stupidly, you couldn't get Bill to come back to you!" Anne said loudly.

"Mom! Stop babbling nonsense. This is a public place." Miranda replied in a low tone, but her voice sounded furious.

Joana who heard Anne's words frowned slightly. She was about to jump to conclusions, but tried to hear more to understand more.

"How can I not keep babbling, Miranda? You can't even take Bill's heart. Bill is so easy to persuade," Anne said.
