New Place to Live

"I don't think I can live in your apartment anymore, Jo. I've caused you too much trouble." That night Bill expressed his desire to move out of Joana's apartment.

It had been almost a month since Bill joined Zigga Company. He had learned so much. Joana had even trusted him to be in charge of the planning department. It felt very uncomfortable to continue living with his friend. Especially since they were of different genders.

"I don't feel inconvenienced, though. Let's just say we're housemates." Joana responded casually.

"I still have to find another place to live." Bill insisted.

"Why, you're not comfortable living with me?" Joana asked.

"It's not like that. I'm perfectly comfortable living here. I don't have to think about rent, electricity bills, water bills. I don't even have to think about spending money."

"What did you say? Why do I feel used?" Joana gave Bill an annoyed glance.

Bill responded with a light laugh. He deliberately said that so Joana wouldn't hold back any longer.
