CHAPTER FORTY TWO

As Victor and Michael sat in the car, the tension in the air was palpable. Michael couldn't contain his frustration any longer.

He was mad at Victor for not letting him to mention Mr Alejandro Martinez as his prime suspect.

Didn't he want the police to have a hint of the internal feud there at the company.

Michael thought it unwise to conceal his prime suspect.

"Victor, I need to know why you didn't want to tell the police about our suspicion of Mr. Alejandro. You know as well as I do that he's the prime suspect in all of this," Michael exclaimed.

Victor sighed deeply, his face reflecting the weight of the situation. "I didn't want to involve the police yet because I want to handle this matter personally. If we go to the authorities right away, we might not get the evidence we need to prove Alejandro's involvement."
