THAT following night Damon was seated in his study at his desk supposedly working. However, couldn’t concentrate on business that night or for the last week for that matter. He kept thinking of her. He kept thinking of Liya. He signed a couple of receipts and then pushed his ledgers away from him and leaned back in his high back leather chair folding his hands behind his head. He really tried to concentrate on other matters hoping to drive her memory out of his head. Nothing seemed to work. He meant it when he told Nathan that he didn’t have a choice in pursuing her.
