CHAPTER 44

"I said let me go!" Flanagan's tone was higher this time.

Romeo's grip on Flanagan's arm tightened, his fingers digging into the flesh, as he skillfully twisted and turned it with a controlled force.

Flanagan winced in pain, his face contorting with each movement, and beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

"You think that your status and your money would intimidate me? his voice low and menacing. "But strength, determination, and wit—those are qualities you don't have, those are qualities you can't purchase."

Flanagan continued to wince in pain while his bodyguards stood there, unsure of what to do.

At first they were shocked, and amazed by the Romeo's guts, second Flanagan had not given the order to attack.

This was rather an excuse, not a code.

With a swift motion, Romeo forced Flanagan down to his knees, bringing him closer to the floor.
