Romeo did not reply to Flanagan's greeting. He was speechless as he tried to ascertain the reason for Flanagan's presence in the room that the prime suspect of Charlie Stauman's murder had lodged.

Romeo didn't bother to think of Flanagan as a possible perpetrator of Charlie Stauman's murder, one because he was the laziest male human being he had ever seen.
