She whispered to Rebecca's ear's "why are we taking this way?" But before Rebecca could answer, lushly did.

"Because it is the shortest way to the mansion, Alice." Lushly answered not turning back as she kept walking.

Alice was surprised as she mentioned her name.

"How did you…how did you know my name?"

Lushly turned to them, making Rebecca and Alice that was behind her to stop on their tracks. Because nothing is hidden in the heart of Edin. Here we are." She said pointing at the mansion before them.

Alice raised her head up to look at the big and high building in front of her. Alice whined her eyes in shock as she looked at the building.

"Am I dreaming? This is so amazing it is even more beautiful than the royal palace." She said, scanning the building.

"Yes it is. and I told you so." Rebecca answered.

Lushly cut in. "I will leave you here as my assistant will take you to meet the Goddess. She said moving her gesture towards a young lady that approached them.

"This is Ari, she will take you to see the Goddess." And if you don't mind? Miss Rebecca, I would like to speak to you about something."

"Sure I do not." Rebecca replied to her with a smile on her face.

"Wait!! What?! Are you leaving me? You promise to stay with me." Alice said in confusion as she held Alice's arms.

"Am sorry Alice. But I will be here waiting for you when you come out. Do not worry you will do just fine."

"No no you ca not leave me. You know I do not know anyone here." Alice said, shaking her head left and right.

"Alice, look at me." Rebecca said, holding Alice's cheeks in her both hands. You will do just fine I promise. I will be here waiting when you return."

"Hmm okay Rebecca if you so say."

"Yes, so now go and make your desire known okay."

"Okay Rebecca. Thank you lushly." She said, turning her back towards them as Ari led the way.

"Right this way." Ari said.

The two start walking until they meet a big door at the end and they both stop at the doorstep.

"You can go in, the Goddess is inside."

"Okay thank you Ari."

Ari nodded in response.

The door opened and Alice walked in and everywhere inside the meeting room was amazing. Everything was made out of gold from the wall or the ground everywhere was extremely beautiful, there were golden seats.

Alice could not close her mouth as she opened it in shock. Who could have imagined a forest that is scary and forbidden will have such a beautiful place.

"Welcome!!" The goddess said, bringing back Alice's mind. "I am Sofira the Goddess of Exchange." She said, opening her arms in a fashioned way.

Alice was speechless for sometime looking at the beautiful Goddess in front of her, as she shone and glowed beautifully with her skin and her hair matches with her set of silver eyes, she was slim in a perfect way and also tall. Her dress matched her amazing shape, giving her that undeniable figure. She was so out of this world, no wonder she was a Goddess.

"Hi Am Alice." Alice said moving forward to her, until some scary looking beast with a disturbing face stopped her. Alice gaps seeing their faces. They looked nothing like humans. They were hefty with thick skin, like really thick. It almost looked like animal skin. Their eyes shone like lava in a volcano, their lips were ash just like their skin. The most scary thing about them was their shape. The upper part was built and the lower was straight; it looked deformed. Their feet were high and slender. All and all looked disturbing and disgusting.

"Sorry about my guard's." She said signaling them to let her be.

Alice looks at the Goddess before her again and wonders if she will be nice to her, before she could say a thing the Goddess already read her mind. Alice totally forgot that nothing is hidden in the heart of Edin.

"You are wondering if I will be nice to you. Haha do not worry and you do not have to be scared I would not eat you." She said with a smile.

"Ohh Okay. But I just want to make my desire known so I can be on my way before my husband comes back." She said in fear.

"Ohh I see. So what is your desire dear Alice?" She said as she sat on her throne. scanning Alice from head to toe.

"I thought you were a Goddess, so you should know what my desire is." Alice said.

"Ohh yes Alice I know all, I just want you to say your desire out loud.

And I do not appreciate your tone, you little human." She said in a cold voice. "So I ask again, what do you desire?"

"I desire to have a baby of my own." Alice said with a sad smile on her face.

"Then what you seek, you shall have. But for an exchange for an exchange. And you must promise to return."

Hearing this Alice became scared because she does not know what to give for an exchange of a child.

"What do you mean by an exchange for exchange?" Alice asks with fear in her heart.

"What can you offer for an exchange?"

"I do not have anything to offer." Alice said with a pitiful face.

"And you want me the Great Goddess sofira to give you what you desire? when you can not give something in return?" She asked as she praised herself.

Alice became scared. "I...I...I just want to give my husband a child please Goddess sofira."

"Then what do you offer your Goddess?"

"I do not have anything but I promise to do whatever you ask of me please Goddess sofira.

Goddess smirked devilishly to her.
