The energy in the cannons was powerful, and they gave off blinding light as they aimed at Clover. This shot had been charged for a long time and it aimed to break Clover's protective shield with one single attack. With all three ships firing at the same time, even the shields of large transport carriers that boasted powerful defensive capabilities might be destroyed in one volley.
As soon as the cannons were charged to the limit and the pirates had reached an optimal distance from Clover's ship, Boot gave the order to attack.
