In the water, Naomi's body floats lifelessly.

Just as Naomi thought it was the end, a strange warmth began to envelop her. It was as if the water itself was cradling her, pulling her deeper into an embrace that was both comforting.

The voice was soft, almost a whisper, yet it resonated within her very being.

Naomi suddenly jerked, and opened her eyes.

The voice asked.

The question cut through the fog in her mind. Yes, she wanted to live. More than anything, she wanted to breathe, to feel the warmth of the sun on her skin again, to see her family and friends. Yes.

With that, Naomi felt herself being lifted, as if the water was carrying her upward. She broke through the surface with a gasp, filling her lungs with air. She coughed and her limbs were weak but regained strength with every passing second.

She managed to swim to the
