Chapter 7 - Car Upgrade

In an instant, the servers of Realm exploded with comments.

"Who is this player? I've never heard of him before."

"Did he get all that money from completing missions or is he just a rich guy using real money to buy stuff in the game?"

"Are you kidding? Is there anyone who would use that much money to buy things in a game? He could be one of the top rankers who earn a lot of in-game coins."

This conversation led people to quickly check Jake's in game ranking but they ended up disappointed.

"What? He's the Lowest ranking gamer in his server, that means... he's using real money!"

"What kind of monster must he he to be able to spend so much in a game? Only Dare-devil has done that so far."

"Wow, does this guy have a guild? I'd like to join. I don't care if he has zero gaming skills, with that equipment, we can take over the whole server."

"Who are you to even try that? My guild is one of the most well known in this server, I'm going to poach this guy. If anyone stands in my way I'm going to kill them."

In game death meant losing all the progress one has made so far, everyone stepped back from offending a higher level player that could kill them.

Jake didn't stop buying equipments until his inventory was full. He had all sorts of clothes for his avatar, weapons and healing potions with boosters, he was almost invisible In the game having spent over twenty thousand.

-Gamer Flying Swordmaster has gained the badge Tycoon Spender.-

A notification was sent to the whole server and the badge immediately appeared on his gaming avatar.

"Sweet." James muttered, he'd always wanted a badge.

Other gamers seeing a player with a badge would instinctively avoid causing any trouble with them.

Jake dived into the game to start clearing dungeons so he could finally level up.

Countless guilds came to poach him but he refused them, wanting to go solo.

Using his multiple purchased skills and weapons, he was able to quickly clear a level two dungeon in less than five minutes. The notification made the server explode once more.

"Fuck! This unknown gamer just beat Dare-devil's record. No one has ever cleared a dungeon in five minutes, and it's even a level two dungeon."

Dare-devil was currently in the midst of saving a beauty in distress when he saw the notification.

"Handsome young master, save me!" The girl cried out. Hearing her voice, Dare-devil knew she would be a beauty in real life, however he couldn't let his reputation in the game slip away as the number one player, he abandoned the girl to be devoured by a monster and he rushed to the current location of the gamer currently causing a stir.

In order to maintain his position, he had to get rid of that guy and make him lose all his in game progress. High level players never bothered with low level ones unless they became a threat.

Jake was about to clear another dungeon when someone suddenly appeared in front of him. He was over the moon with excitement playing the game, this was the very first time he'd ever had this much fun in the game but he frowned when he was suddenly interrupted.

"Who are you?" Jake asked.

"The gaming master who will take you out if you don't give me that dragon skill you bought earlier." Stealing from weaker players wasn't uncommon in the game. No one would want to be killed and lose their progress, so they would willingly give whatever they had to a stronger gamer if they would spare their lives.

Jake scoffed. He had no idea that the avatar in front of him was actually the number one player in the whole server.

"I'll let you have it if you can snatch it from me." Jake said.

Dare-devil narrowed his eyes and prepared to fight. "This will be interesting, I showed mercy but you refused, I'll take every high level equipment you purchased after I kill you."

The battle began fiercely. Jake lacked tactics but he had purchased skills and weapons, Dare-devil was tactful in all his moves and he seemed to be having the upper hand.

With concentration, Jake calculated all of Dare-devil's moves and began to mirror them.

"Look look! Flying Swordmaster is using Dare-devil's skills."

Dare-devil didn't see it coming, even if someone told him that he could be killed inside the game he would never believe it. He was the strongest and no one could ever challenge him, but when that one move that killed him hit him, it felt unreal. And before he knew it, his avatar had reset.

He cursed loudly and yanked at his hair as if to pull it out. It was his fault for offending someone he shouldn't have.

Jake was surprised to see himself suddenly take the number one spot in the game. He was beyond ecstatic.

He continued playing for a while longer until the chefs notified him that his meal was ready.

Jake enjoyed the dishes spread before him on the table, he had an incredibly heavy meal after which he went for a swim. The water was neither warm nor too cold, it was just the right temperature to enjoy.

When he was done, he leaned at the edge of the pool and his phone vibrated with a notification.

*Ding! Task successfully completed.*

With the total amount he'd spent here today to get a VIP membership and this majestic suite along with all his gaming purchases, he'd definitely been able to spend five million in an hour.

*Reward: Irresistible charm.*

"Charm? What sort of a reward is that?"

Jake didn't think much about it as he got out of the pool, but immediately he stepped back into the suite he heard a stunned gasp. He turned his head to see one of the female chefs still in her uniform, her shirt was so tight around her chest it seemed as if her buttons would burst open.

She looked at him with kitten like eyes and her cheeks were painted in a blush. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were swimming." She apologized but her eyes couldn't stray from his body, he only had a towel around his waist.

Sheila had been mesmerized by him ever since he arrived at the suite, however he was one of those rich clients that were off limits, she wanted to get another peek of him before finishing off for the day, unexpectedly he was swimming in nothing but a tight pair of shorts.

Her imagination had instantly soared and she was blushing, she'd been too carried away until he suddenly walked out.

When his eyes fell on her she felt her heart begin to thump furiously in her chest and she felt unsettled.

"It's alright." He said and walked away towards the inner part of the suite.

Sheila continued to stare at his back, feeling her attraction for him soaring higher and higher.

If it wouldn't be too shameless of her, she would have snuck into his bed and made him take responsibility after he sleeps with her, he was that dazzling and she wanted the man for herself.

Jake slept peacefully that night in the gigantic bed inside his suit unaware that he'd left a woman feral for him with burning desire, the charm he had been awarded by the app could overpower weak hearted females into an instant urge to mate.

He left the suite the next day and immediately he was outside Magneticum, a notification sounded.

*Ding! Daily car upgrade activated.*

His car key had also changed, when he reached the parking lot, a classy looking SUV answered as he pressed his key button.

"Wow! That's a BMW X5!" Jake exclaimed in awe as he stared at the car from a distance.

Before he could begin approaching the car however...

"Stupid slut! I said take off your damn clothes!" A girl was slapped across the face, the force hit her so hard she stumbled until she landed next to Jake's feet.

With eyes filled with tears she looked up at Jake, "Please...help!"

Four men sat casually in a car next to Jake's new BMW, they had been the ones to hit the girl. Smoke swirled around them as they puffed out their cigarettes.

The girl looked pitiful as she clutched onto Jake's pants pleadingly.

"Hey, don't even think about interfering. Get lost!" One of them yelled at Jake.
