He was standing above two people, they were dead. The man was white haired, his wrinkled face still prominent even though he was covered in crimson. He turned to the woman and found her head a few centimeters away from her neck, she was facing sideways, her skin had already lost any luster it could have possessed. Somehow he knew they were his parents and he felt a knot of sadness in him. He held his abdomen and limped backwards, scanning his environment.
His ear howled, allowing the sounds of him stepping on shards of glass in the scattered unlit room, seeming distant like the light of the stars. He collided with a piece of furniture and almost reeled backwards. He staggered and found his footing, just as he did, a bird fluttered past him and he fell back cause of shock and the pain in his abdomen tugged at him once more. He groaned and gasped. On the ground he fell towards, his hand felt a metallic piece and he traced it. It was a dagger, he held it in his hand. The thought of dropping it crept into his mind, it could be the weapon of murder and a simple way to hold him responsible, but his core told him whatever killed his or whoever's body he was in parents. He stood up, holding his stomach with one hand and the dagger in the other. He felt like Indiana Jones. After a while of blind navigation, he found a door, he turned the knob and pushed open. Just as he did this, the screen appeared in his face and new information popped up. /Mission 1: Survive the night Mission reward: 2ES Mission difficulty: Hard!/ A blast of hot air slammed against him, and the first thing that registered to him was the noise. People running in scattered forms, buildings on fire and two big creatures at the core of this problem. One of the creatures; the one nearest to him was blacker than the blackest nights, it held two horns and its mouth held saber toothed fangs. It held two broad swords and it was cleaving humans apart. The second was a bit further away and he was just setting buildings on fire with a cylinder-like weapon. Screams and smoke filled the night. Chaos had descended. The creature, the one with the broadswords locked its gaze on him. "Oh shit!" He stumbled sideways and started to run off. The creature, probably liking a game of catch, bursted towards him, leaving smoke and dust in its wake. He ran so fast. Why the hell in the world will anyone wake him up from the dead just to throw him at death again. He ran and the beast pursued, growling and snarling. He slid down the hill their house was on, landed in a roll, the pain in his abdomen achieving prominence once more, but fear overcame pain. He didn't give it much thought. He ran like hell, dropping from hill to hill as the settlement was one large cluster of rocky hills. A warrior dressed in armor rushed past him, aiming at the beast that was almost an inch from catching Carol. The man slashed at it, but the monster only spun while in motion, catching the warrior's neck and evading the sword slice in one impossibly swift movement, dropped one of its swords and crushed his neck, tossing him away. "Holy Eucharist!" Coral screamed. Jumping off a rock, but the tip of his leg decided to hang backwards just enough for it to kiss the rock and send Coral into the dust. The creature smiled and walked towards the felled citizen. He walked slowly allowing the man to feel his stench of fear. Then to show the already proven strength, he kicked the rock which had aided the man in falling away like a piece of crumpled can. Coral stepped, his heart slamming, the pain in his abdomen hidden due to the stinking odor of fear. The beast dragged its broadsword and lifted it up, bringing it down in a clean strike. He jolted, rolling sideways away from the downward slash. The sword hit the ground in a heavy grace, almost splitting the land into two. His head faced the reflection of the sword and he saw a glimpse of his face for the first time. Dark skin, dark coil hair. He couldn't see the color of his eyes before the sword was lifted and was once again brought heavily against his head, he decided to kick the creature's leg and get it to stumble, but unfortunately, it didn't bulge. The sword came heavily for him and he raised his hand in reflex to block. He felt nothing. He slowly removed his hand to see another sword blocking off the beast's sword strike. "Magician," the beast said in a thick roaring voice. "Balmox," the new person said. A woman! blue hair and white skin, with three eyes. "Get up and run," the woman told him and he did. Then from a safe distance he watched the battle between beast and warrior begin. They clashed their swords with an equal amount of strength, which was surprising, considering the woman was like a tsetse fly to the big hulking Balmox or whatever the woman called it. The balmox brought down a striking blow, but the woman swiftly rolled away, striking the creature at its feet. The sword drew blood; black unforgiving blood and the creature's mouth drew a piercing cry. The woman then did something crazy. She licked the black blood. Just as she did, she yelled three words. ∆Blood Oath Damnation∆ And the creatures jerked and began to scream harder. Its skin began to wobble and it lost coherence. The woman charged it and held it down. "Now before its anti magic adapts to it!" she yelled. Then a man with a sword rushed forward and in one instance plunged forward and decapitated the beast. The head rolled in the sky and landed right at Coral's feet. And He Yelled!! \MISSION COMPLETED: REWARDS: SHINING DAGGER REWARDS: 2 ES/The stench of smoke and blood made him cough as he trudged forward on the rocky terrain of his town; Vailand. The gash in his stomach had stopped stinging him thanks to the female warrior who saved his life; Tina. He would have tried talking to her, but all he could do was thank her before he passed out. He had been awoken by the other male warrior, a mean guy with a lightning scar across his nose. He had tried to gather his thoughts when Ag popped up again. He'd since then been fiddling with the system in his head. He acquired a reward of two ES that he'd later known to be Essence. This essence would help him improve his magical energy. He was a Order 0 Sorcerer and he was currently at level One. His level progress had increased to fifty percent after he improved it with the 2ES he was rewarded with. Ag had notified him that missions would be harder as they progressed. He was currently reading about his skills, Heaven's Winter and Hell's Wrath./Skill Library: Heaven's Winter: A sk
After a while, he was led by one of them into one of the rows of houses and when he entered, he met a young blonde woman waiting for him, and a bed beside her. She extended her hands towards the bed. She held an almost seductive smile, her dress was a blue shirt tucked in a large long white skirt. Are you kidding? Carol's thought already swung, what sort of world is this? He thought. He complied, and laid down on the bed, his heart beating fast. He was already imagining lots of lewd imagery when the woman stuck a syringe right in his abdomen. He screamed, and before he knew it he was shrouded in darkness once again. Just moments before he passed out, he felt the only thing he has been doing for the past few days was pass out. He woke up in a different room, with one other person in the room with him. The person was on a bed beside him, they were flipping a book, cross legged and a pair of glasses placed carefully on their nose. They glanced up at him as he shrugged and stood up. "
He had only a minute left to complete the task, so he told Magus, who obliged with no questions, to run. He reached the class when the seconds were at the dot of 5. He exhaled as Ag's Message popped up. /Side Task: Completed Reward: 5MP received Total MP: 10 Complete more side task to earn mps/He caught his breath for a while before walking towards the two vacant seats at the far end of the class. Magus walked smiling at everyone, eagerly greeting the students, and for some reason, none of them answered. They seemed to want to keep as much distance from him as possible. Coral shrugged, he glanced back towards Magus and in that second noticed someone's leg stretched out fast enough that Magus would collide with it. He held him back just mere moments before he collided with the leg. The owner of the leg, a blonde fair guy with a pair of glasses, looked up angrily."Everyone," h
Panic ensued immediately after that. Coral forgot about hunger as the logged relic turned on him. He ran. The relic seemed to find this amusing as an eerie laughter escaped from it. Then it followed Coral."Oh shit!" he screamed. "Don't follow me. Don't you. I am new here idiot.""Toidi ereh wen ma I. Uoy tond. em wollof tond." he replied. "Tihs ho!" and it laughed. The librarian was screaming nonstop as Coral jumped off a table and the shadow just walked right through it whispering something that made Coral lose control and land on the ground."Ih, woh era ouy!"Coral screamed. "I DON'T SPEAK SHADOW!" he rolled off the ground and removed his dagger from thin air. A feat he didn't know how he pulled. He will worry about that later."Get down," a voice came from the door.Coral dove off the ground and all he heard was a boom! Chapter Four:The splinters of wood shattering against his back, and the stench of smoke feeling his nostrils didn't compare to the sound of the slithering sh
Coral charged immediately, ignoring her question. He lunged at the solidifying mass of blackness that was turning human with every ticking second. He extended his arm, pointing the dagger forward, he struck! His knife, striking a surface with full force. Alas! It wasn't the surface he wanted to strike, no, the knife went straight through as if it had ignored the existence of the shadow, as if it had forgotten it. Its tip was caught on the wooden desk, Coral's arm in the body of the shadow. "Em truh t'nac uoy," It said. "human turning from,me stop you can neither,"Coral paused after he retracted his hand, this silly shadow just said actual words, he turned to the librarian and found that she was already almost all black. "Oh. Holy!" he gasped, the lady was starting to turn illusory. ∆And it shall come to pass that the soul of Lyris shall answer my call and bend to my authority.∆ the thick girl who seemed to have snapped out of the forgetfulness chanted.Just as she did the whole ha
Just similar to earth's countries and states. The difference was the size, for a planet holding two suns, Mianca was quite small in comparison to earth, it was barely larger than its moon in fact and habitable zones were actually smaller in percentage than earth's. This is mostly due to its south pole possessing a dangerous area called the Lava zone. More than thousands of miles covered in flowing lava. The information was quite unnecessary to Coral, but he still wanted to make himself familiar. He skipped through the different languages and cultures. He was about to start checking out his profile and rewards for surviving the logged relic when he was called into the office. He glanced up and saw the thick girl standing in front of him. He nodded at her and she did the same. He stood up and they both entered the office together. It was neatly arranged with the statue of a man covered in wings erected beside the office table. The statue seemed to hold an ample amount of life, like
He made his stance, and began to follow the rhythm, hitting the wooden dummy at targeted points. Sweats dripped down his head and onto his light brown skin. He punched and blocked, his movements turning into a trancelike state. For the past two weeks, he'd settled down in this world and had started to learn the way they do things. His roommate Magus was seated at the far corner, writing stuff down with a quill. After he had set his goals on Ag, every morning had been like this. He would wake up and go for his training routes which usually began with endurance and strength training. He would then move to skill acquisition. Within these two weeks, his body had grown rapidly, and a day before Ag had notified him that he had unlocked a warrior's body. After he finished with the wooden dummy, he went straight to the bathroom to get ready for school. He checked his profile./PROFILEHP: 98ES: 4MP: 53TIER: SORCERERORDER: 0Lvl: 2 (50% complete)WARRIOR BODY: Level 1(34%)SKILL: HEAVEN'
After Coral had read that part he'd closed the book and shoved it under his bed staring and focusing on Magus who was sprawled on the bed snoring peacefully. He only picked the book two days later. The book didn't contain any more important info except for the order zeros of all the tiers. The Orders were the stages one can reach within a tier. A magician can only choose just one tier as his path, and the more they study and practice, they get connected to the magical force and would be able to use it to achieve abilities listed in the certain tier and its corresponding order. He was a Sorcerer and his Order Zero was named druid and was described to have a vast connection to plants and animals and also life in general depending on the talent of the practitioner. He seemed to be more inclined with the plants and earth. His first skill was called stone identification and he was easily able to identify soils and different kinds of stone with it as regards whatever they were used for. He
