With itching pain in her eyes, Claria looked in the direction where the prince is lying down and saw five black widows emerging from the hole that she has dug earlier to save him from the cavern he was trapped in. “What in the world is going on here? After twenty three minutes of killing the Argonaut demons around him, Dula has finally dispersed the large horde into a small handful of beasts that are currently retreating away from the position back into their plains. With a blood covered body, she shouted at the top of his lungs and in celebration of his victory as he walks back to the edge of he lava zone where the shadow assassins were waiting for the right opportunity to follow the rare clouds of meteors that pass and sometimes even more rare than there passing, they fall onto the mountain ranges beyond the lava zone. “That was an incredible fight alright, but I know you guys are still rookies in the desert so here is a little piece of advice. For the next seven hours, Astra and Claria sat in the resting area of the cube shaped vehicle as it slowly approaches the end of the desert where their next step of the journey awaits them. Throughout their stay in the resting center of the vehicle, they mostly stare at one another awkwardly, not knowing what to say to each other and barely overcoming the fact that they almost killed each other not too many hours ago. The alien from the tower has just appeared in the presidential meeting hall in base zero and Carter is standing right next to him on the podium. He immediately reached for his HELL- blade and realized that it is not there at the moment. ‘Shit, I left it in my room when I was coming out, but come to think of it. How the hell did this alien bastard get all the way here? Did he teleport here? I can assume that he did since they themselves teleported here from where they came from. From above them, a long vine with hundreds of needle sharp spikes swing itself down in their direction, as Astra studies it, she noticed that it was long enough to reach them from the roof of the forest and although it was covered in spikes that can skewer a person if they hit them; she noticed an even bigger thing about the vines she should watch out for. Each of them stood in place and watched the vine miss them. The tip of the vine is accumulated into a thick round ball shaped structure that both carry much of the vine’s weight and help it gain momentum when it swings. “So this is more a wrecking ball trap than an actual spike trap, but the wrecking balls at the end of the vines are also covered with the spikes as well.” Astra said to herself. Astra slowly opened her eyes to the beating of drums and a chorus humming of people surrounding her. She tried to recall what happened last before she passed out and Adriel came to her mind. ‘That is right, I was with Adriel and the guard Claria, we went past the forest fighting the venomous apes and I used an aether blast to clear a way for us but I was bitten by a flying severed ape head. But where am I? We were in the canyon or something last I checked. What is that sound?’ Astra murmured to herself and tried to roll around but was met with a pain unlike she has ever felt in her life. As the pain surges from her arm, through her neck and all the way down her spine, she let out a loud grunt that made all of the persons humming around her to stop for a second, maintained the silence for a while before bursting into loud chants in a language she has never heard of before. Astra open her eyes once again and found herself in yet again another unfamiliar place. They have covered her entire hand in what looks like a green paste of plant leaves and stem. The first thing she noticed was that her pain has subsided to almost none. She could no longer feel the throbbing headache that was making her dizzy before and she could feel all of the fingers on her right arm, which were numb before. Immediately she stood up, the two men from before walked into the room and stood before her.
