Chapter 7: Shopping! Shopping!

The caller was Scarlet; she was almost the only person who was nice to him in school. At least she doesn't distance herself from or despise him because of Steve.

She's a nice girl, not a fake like Judy. Louis didn't know why before they found Judy innocent and pure. He is so stupid.

Louis answered the phone; Scarlet's gentle voice sounded: "Louis, it's my birthday tonight. Can you come and attend?"

Is she inviting him to her birthday party? Louis didn't expect Scarlet to ask a poor guy like him; she didn't know he was so rich now. Isn't she afraid of losing face?

Louis was surprised at the same time, feeling the pressure; it seemed that Scarlet considered him a friend. Louis smiled and said, "Okay, I will come."

Scarlet: "You said it; you must come. If you don't come, I'll be angry."

Louis laughed; the two talked for a while, then hung up.

Thinking about going to Scarlet's birthday party tonight, Louis changed his mind about going home. He thought he was going to the mall to buy her a present.

He went into the nearby shopping mall, hearing that it was the biggest shopping mall in the city. Inside there are all sorts of things; the only thing in common between them is that they are all costly.

If it were the former, perhaps Louis would never have thought he would enter this mall. But now it's different; as his father said, his only burden is learning how to spend money to be rich and luxurious.

He immediately went into the center's most expensive men's clothing store. Although he had enough clothes for the four seasons at home, he didn't have any suits, so now he has to buy them himself.

Louis had just entered the door when a clerk stopped him: "Hi, our store is the most expensive in this mall."

Hearing that, Louise frowned and looked at her: "So what?"

The salesman laughed mockingly, saying, "It means it's not for the poor."

Louis began to feel tired. He didn't expect so many stupid people in this world. Why don't they do their job well and look down on others? Louis sneered and said: "I also feel that someone like you is not worthy to serve me; change someone."

When the salesman heard that, she was furious. Just as she was about to say something, another salesman politely said to Louis: "Please follow me; there may be something you like over here."

Louis followed the new employee over there, not looking at the angry employee. The other salesman saw this and immediately scornfully said, "The intern is indeed ignorant; let's see what she can sell to that poor guy."

The salesman took Louis away and, at the same time, said: "I wonder what you want to buy?"

Louis was very pleased with this girl. She is relatively young. Moreover, her attitude is also very genuine, without the slightest bit of decency or contempt. Louis said: "I want a suit to go to for your birthday. Price doesn't matter."

The salesman was slightly surprised when he heard that, but he still led Louis to the counter selling Western clothes. She constantly introduced Louis to beautiful and precious suits.

Louis also saw these for the first time. He looked at them all, then said with satisfaction to the salesman: "I want these, this, this too…."

Louis wanted ten suits, plus they cost sky-high, totaling more than $6 million.

The salesman heard Louis say that he wanted to buy all ten sets, and he couldn't help but be surprised to confirm once again: "You said… are you telling the truth?" if Louis bought that much, the discount for her would not be small!

Louis saw her reaction and felt a little cute; he nodded and said: "Yes."

He feels he bought it once, so he doesn't need to waste time believing it when he goes to any party later.

At this moment, the salesman just passed by the two of them. She heard Louis' words and immediately laughed: "What's the point of acting? See if there's money to pay by then."

Louis didn't care about her, and he just handed his card to the clerk next to him: "Pay me all ten sets, swipe the card, no code."

The clerk saw Louis so decisively and tremblingly took Louis's card. Invoice printed, over 6 million dollars paid!

The clerk next to him opened his eyes wide and, at the same time, was highly regretful and jealous. If she had entertained Louis, the discount amount would have been hers!

Louis didn't care what they had in mind. He left his address for the store to deliver to him while walking.

Passing the women's clothing store, Louis suddenly stopped.

He turned his head to look at the dress displayed in the store's most significant and gorgeous glass case. He suddenly remembered Judy, not because he still loved her, but because the beautiful dress shown in the glass was the one Judy loved.

Before, she kept holding her phone and talking about it. At that time, he thought that when he was rich, he would buy better things for her. Now he's rich, but Judy doesn't deserve his affection anymore.

Louis mocked himself for a moment, then went inside the store. The staff here know more than the staff over there. They politely greeted Louis and then took Louis on a store tour. It just seemed like he wasn't so lucky because inside were the two people he hated the most, Steve and Judy.

The other two immediately saw Louis as he entered. Steve was the first to say: "Oh, look who is this. Do you also have a girlfriend to buy gifts for? But even if you have a girlfriend, this shop isn't for a poor guy like you."

Then Steve laughed again and said: "Ah, I forgot. Didn't you get arrested for stealing someone else's card? Are you planning to use that card for shopping too?"

Louis calmly looked at Steve: "If you say anything more that is not true, I can sue you for defaming me."
