More More Discovery

[Blue Spider Headband x1] After making sure that there was no danger, William put it on his forehead. However, he felt as if his mind had been cleared. It's more 'clear' when thinking now. 'Does this headband help with concentration? Or does it clear the mind?' William thought. But his faster and clearer mind made him happy. He left it on his forehead for now. He would take it off when he got out of the misty swamp.

In the meantime, he wondered if it was because his mind was working better. "Why do they call it the Misty Swamp? There are no swamps here."

These questions remained unanswered. After putting on the headband, he quickly removed the robe from the skeleton.

It didn't say what material [Fireproof Mage Robe x1] was made of, but at least from the name, he could tell what it was used for.

There was nothing out of the ordinary on the table. There was no notebook or scroll. But what caught his attention was the dimension bag he saw when he took off the skeleton's robe.

William immediately pulled it from the skeleton's belt and looked inside. Then he froze for a few seconds. He couldn't believe his eyes. Unlike the contents of the dimensional bag, the size inside was the real surprise.

This damned dimensional bag was one hundred cubic meters! Ten times more than William had! After a while, he got rid of his surprise and began to examine the contents. There was so much!

Various neatly arranged books, scrolls of spells, and even meditation techniques. Not counting the weapons and armor, there were only two sets of second-level strengthens. The one with the first level strengthens was at least twenty.

'Who was this man?' he thought. He soon found the answer to his question in a strange-looking notebook.

This notebook was the skeleton's diary!

He quickly pushed the skeleton aside and sat down in the chair.

"The Diary of Levenoth Arvenuer."

This entry made William think that fate can be funny sometimes. He began to read with a small smile. The diary was very detailed, but the part that really caught his attention was after the war started.

"Master is determined to lead us to death. He gave everyone a chance to leave today, except for the real(official) mages. We are not allowed to leave because we have a contract. We will stay here until death."

"Master went alone to fight those young people. How can he defeat those young people? Shouldn't he have solid power because he is at least three hundred years old and the others are so young?"

"The master came back with serious wounds, but he said that he was able to injure their leader in an ambush. That means we can beat them! We are outnumbered."

"The enemies communicated with me. What the master said was a lie! He was only able to 'lightly' injure their leader! They want the defense crystal from me! They broke the contract with ease! In return, they offered to take me to their school! I don't know if I should accept. After all, the master taught me everything."

"Today they communicated again. Now I had to decide and...I agreed!"

William was excited as he read it. It was like reading a good storybook.

"I took the crystal and ran! I went west. I left my friends behind, but the Master came personally."

"We killed the master with the help of the youth, but he cast a forbidden spell with his last breath! He fused his soul with his pet! He created a monster! The youth fled. I don't think they'll ever set foot here again. They suffered much in the face of the monster the master created."

"I returned to the tower, but the monster came before me! All the remaining students and real(official) mages became its food! Master, what have you done? You created an undead monster! Was it worth it?"

"The monster was chasing me. As a last defense, I hid in this room created by the master himself, but the creature was standing guard outside. I can't get out, I can't escape, I'm starving! I don't want to endure the endless torture in the creature's stomach! It is my choice to die here in peace, even if it is of hunger."

There was a final note at the bottom. It was written slowly and with pressure.

"The story of the traitor and coward Levenoth. I regret!"

William said, "Wow!" He closed the diary.

Human life is full of ups and downs. He felt sorry for him after reading Levenoth's story. He died with regret.

William promised himself again that he would have no regrets.

Whatever he did, he would do it knowingly and willingly. That's why he said to himself, 'No regrets!'

Then he stood up quickly and changed his dimensional bag. Moved to the larger one. After that, he didn't have to think about carrying capacity for a long time.

William finally made his way to the basement. There was still a sense of danger in him, but it was a little different. It was a purer and calmer sense of danger, not like the crying zombie he had just encountered.

So he finally decided to go down to the basement. He had gained a lot from this tower. However, greed was still a part of him. He would rather do what he wants than fight with himself.

When he went downstairs, he encountered a single room again. This place also had a protective barrier. With some effort, he managed to break through it.

When he entered, he had to cover his nose because of the stench. It was like an herb garden. There was a layer of black soil on the ground. It smelled so bad, probably because they used feces as fertilizer. Unfortunately, most of the plants were dead. Only three remained. It was a vine-like plant, two of which looked like flowers, and one that had also existed in a previous life. There was a distance of at least fifty meters between the three of them, as if they had chosen an area for each other and absorbed the essences of other plants between them.

The sense of danger came from the vine, but the vine was still small. It was barely as long as a human leg.

The vine was the farthest away from him, so he went to the flower-like plant near him first.

[Blood Flower x1] William was not surprised. Such ugly-looking plants often had bad names and reputations.

He removed the soil from the root. He put it, along with a large handful of soil, into one of the barrels he had bought for blood. Then he placed it in his dimensional bag and moved on to the next one.

[Death Flower (Artificial) x1] He had come across another flower with an artificial tag. William didn't need to be an herbalist to know what this flower was for. He could tell from its name. This time, he picked it up more carefully. He was careful not to touch it. He had no choice since he did not have a glove in his hand. It was normal to be afraid.

Then he walked slowly and finally came to the vine.

He touched it lightly, [Yellow Blood Vine x1] This was not an artificial product. It was original. He didn't know what it was used for, but he was sure that he could find a good explanation in the books he bought. So he quickly dug it out and put it into his dimensional bag.

He had finally cleared the whole tower, but there was still some disappointment inside. Because he couldn't find the treasure room Derec was talking about.

Sadly, he left the tower. It had not been long since he had entered here. In almost two hours, he had searched the entire tower. He went out the way he came in and saw that the wolves were still waiting and resting.

The little wolf didn't mind. William also went and sat beside him. The big wolf's wounds looked fine for the most part, but a little rest wouldn't hurt. So he began to meditate quietly. He would need it on his way back.

A few minutes later there was a sound that frightened the wolves. William didn't feel it because he wasn't as sensitive as the wolves. All the wolves pricked up their ears and stood up.

They looked in fear to the west, behind the tower.

The little wolf started to growl. After a while, William heard the voice that frightened them.

"THUMP!" "THUMP!"

It sounded like the walking sound of a creature thousands of feet tall. "How heavy is this creature?" he thought.

Fear began to rise in him. Then he remembered Levenoth's notes. 'Damn it! Did it notice I broke the door? Is it coming for Levenoth?'

With these thoughts, he immediately removed the headband from his forehead and placed it in his dimensional bag. There should be no trace of Levenoth. He didn't want to be hunted by an overbearing creature like those stupid protagonists.

He turned to see the little wolf preparing to leave. He let out a low howl and all the wolves activated their bloodline powers. They all glowed with a silver light.

The little wolf pointed at one of the other wolves. William understood immediately and jumped at one of the wolves. They would be quicker than cautious on their way back.

The wolves hurried back to where they came from, not caring if they woke the skeletons. Because they were fast, they were already far away when the skeletons woke up.

When they reached the exit, they heard a sound similar to a large explosion. William realized that this was what he feared. Most likely, the creature had destroyed the Mage Tower in one fell swoop!

'I hope it doesn't follow me,' he thought. Deep inside he was very worried.

He let the wolves take him away for a while. When they came to a clearing, they stopped.

William, of course, wanted the blood he deserved.

The little wolf nodded and said he could get it from three wolves. William cut a small vein with his dagger and waited patiently for the barrels to fill.

Twenty barrels of blood could not be drawn from three wolves. So he told the little wolf to call the others while he filled it. After a great howl, the other wolves came. William took blood from all of them like a professional doctor.

Finally, the big wolf was left. The big wolf did not object and let him do his thing. The bloodless wolves felt a little tired. They all sat down and began to rest.

William put his hands on the barrels, thinking that the wolves would not understand.

[Silver Moon Wolf Blood (Bronze Level) x20 lt]

[Silver Moon Wolf Blood (Iron Medium) x80 lt]

[Combine? Y/N]

He excitedly pressed [Yes]. Then that miraculous moment happened again, and all the blood fused in front of him.

William felt that he was missing ten percent of his qi.

That was an acceptable amount.

When the process was over, he looked at the dark red blood drop on his hand.

[Silver Moon Wolf Blood (Silver Moon Wolf Bloodline Purity 40%, Moon Swallowing Wolf Bloodline Purity 6%) x0.1 lt]

'Moon Swallowing Wolf? Is your ancestor the Moon Swallowing Wolf? It's definitely because of the bronze level one,' he thought as he turned to the wolves.

William regretted that he had done the fusion here. All the wolves stared at the blood on his hand with greed and salivation.

William spoke immediately, worried. "This is mine! Let me first! Then I might consider doing it for you again!" he said.

The little wolf shook his head. Even though he was drooling at the moment, they had made a deal.

Besides, this 'man' had helped them with the fruits. He knew that otherwise, they would struggle.

William quickly took out a potion bottle and poured the blood into it. After placing it in his dimensional bag, the greedy look disappeared.

He began to speak again when an idea came to him that would be useful and would ease his workload.

"How about a deal?"

Wolf nodded in understanding. William continued to speak.

"I will take your blood and turn it into this. My only condition is that I'll be the first who use this!" he said.

Wolf thought for a few seconds and then quickly shook his head. He had nothing to lose with this deal. He would only win.

"Then we have a deal! I'm tired now, I'll come back later." He said and turned to leave.

At this time, he urgently needed to read the books he found to find various information about the Moon Swallowing Wolf. Besides, there were two bloodline powers at the same time. Therefore, he would most likely have to do the reassembling. If he chose the Moon Swallowing Wolf himself, the process would take longer. Whether it was worth it depended on the strength of the moon-swallowing wolf.

The little wolf seemed friendlier. He gave William a wolf to ride to the academy.

William began to enjoy his various dealings with these wolves. Since he had met them, things were getting better, even though it had been a bad meeting at first. He had received the system thanks to the Spirit Flower. And now the fruits of life and all the treasures of Levenoth in the Mage Tower! This was enough for him to live without work for the rest of his life.

After a long and tiring day, he finally returned to the Academy. The fear of the creature had finally passed. He laid on his bed, as a peaceful and prosperous man. He decided to examine the treasures tomorrow.
