Unfinished Business

Far from the black forest, on the border between the High Mountain Kingdom and Sanala, in a very small oasis, a handsome grey-haired youth was digging a large hole. The shovel in his hand had just been taken, and it was clear that it was bright enough to reflect the light of the sun.

Near the pit lay dozens of lifeless bodies stacked on top of each other. Riskel had dug a hole deeper than his own height. After he thought he had enough, he jumped out of the pit and began to throw the bodies into the pit. Most of the corpses at the top were bandits whose faces were covered with masks. Riskel knew all these men. Although it was sad to bury them, there wasn't much of a connection between them.
