James was thinking on his way to the office. He couldn’t exactly decide how to feel about Ellen.He knew there was something but he didn’t exactly know what it was and something told him that if he saw Alisha again, if he talked to her, he’d get drawn in again.After all he said he guessed he still wasn’t quite over her. James was done with his work and was heading to the hospital where Ellen was now alone. Lana had also had to go at some point.He was stepping in when he accidentally bumped against someone because he was on his phone.“I’m sorry I didn't mean to do that, I wasn’t looking.” James said.“It’s okay, I wasn’t either.” she said.He looked up and realized that it was the girl who harassed Jaxon earlier on.“Hey, it’s you from earlier. Look I just want to say I am sorry for how things happened with you.” he said.She just gave a weak smile, why are you the one saying sorry?” she asked.“I don’t know, it’s just I think guys, men should be more responsible and on any occasion I see one not behaving that way, I get ashamed of being a man myself.”

The next morning, Lana walked into Ellen's hospital room with a bunch of flowers in her hands.James was already there, he has been there since yesterday after bumping on Paula.He was afraid that something may go wrong and so had decided to stay by her side all through yesterday.“Good morning El, here this is for you.” Lana said, handing Ellen a bunch of flowers.“Oh Lana, thank you. But I wasn’t expecting you here, James told me you had this meeting to prepare for and that it’s by ten o’clock, it’s just five minutes to an hour.” Ellen said.“Yeah that’s right, I did have a meeting but it’s been moved so I just thought I’d run here come see you off, you are getting discharged after all.” Lana explained.“But you are ready for the meeting, yeah? “So, what do you all want me to do?” Paula asked when they had all sat and she had offered them a drink of water, she didn’t have much in the house. ‘I briefly explained it to you, and I want you to understand what you are doing and that there would definitely be opposition and you would probably take some risks and this set of people wouldn’t stop at anything to stop you or make you suffer.” James explained. She looked at each of their faces for a while before she answered, “Yes, I understand and I have decided to go along with you guys and besides I feel protected with you three. And if anything were to happen to me, that would be at least more evidence to prove that Jaxon is as vile as anything from the pit of hell.” Paula said, gritting her teeth at the last words. “Think well about this Paula, you sound like you are making this decision just from your emotions, you have to be clear headed, I mean if you don’t want to speak out we would still be glad to help you. Meanwhile, at the same time in the Sterling mansion. Jaxon and his dad were having a troubled conversation.“I saw him with my own eyes, that bastard. He is going to help her.” Jaxon was fuming.“Saw him where and with who?” Thomas Sterling, Jaxon’s father asked him.“With Paula, at her house.” Jaxon answered, pacing to and fro in the room.It looks like he was going to punch the wall or break a vase.“You fool! "Sir, I do not think there is anyone here. We looked around and it seemed like someone had packed a bag. Whoever you hoped to find, they left before we showed up.” a man said to Jaxon.“The damned witch! I’ll make sure I find her and torture her slowly, maybe take her all over again. My dad is in that condition because of her.” He said and upended a table.“So what do we do now?” The man asked him.“Trash it. Whoever left shouldn’t return to a house, at least not in one piece. But first I have something to do.” Jaxon said and made his way to the bedroom.He had had a lot of girls before, willingly and by force and most of them had been grateful and those who didn’t feel that way were only too scared to speak out. He couldn’t bear the thought that this one not only spoke up but was also trying to destroy him.All of this got to him in different ways and he was suddenly excited.
