CHAPTER 74

Lilian sighed sharply, with her eyes fixed on him. “I will see what I can do.” She replied.

Jason shook his head, handing her his number. “ This is my business card, you can call me anytime you wish.” He voiced out politely.

She grabbed it, while she glanced at the card before she alighted from the car and walked away without looking back. Graham got into the car, he stared at his boss through the rearview mirror.

“Let’s go home.” He said to his driver.

Without hesitation, Graham revved the car engine and zoomed off. They took their normal route home, and through the bridge track, they met with unexpected traffic that made them standstill. Other motorists stopped after a truck was reported to have got spoilt ahead.

Jason leaned his head as he waited for the traffic to lessen, he closed his eyes, his thoughts drifting to the comfort of his home.
