THE MOST SPECTACULAR MARRIAGE PROPOSAL IN THE CITY

CHAPTER 3

Jayden got out of his luxury car in front of a large church where the wedding ceremony would take place.

Today was the wedding day of Bella Moore and Baron Wills, just two weeks after the night when Bella shot him, and the woman would end up happy with the man of her choice.

"I didn't think I'd be a guest at my beloved woman's wedding," Jayden said with a sad tone, but then he smiled back and said, "At least I won't be kicked out for looking poor."

Jayden then entered the church, and he arrived as the wedding vows were being said by the bride and groom. Jayden watched the couple, who were saying their vows with solemnity. It seemed that their love was so sincere that it made Jayden hold back his nausea.

"Baron Wills and Bella Moore, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife!"

Everyone in the church applauded loudly and had big smiles on their faces, blessing Baron and Bella for officially becoming husband and wife.

Jayden did, too. He clapped his hands and shouted.

"WOOHOO...! Couple of the Year!"

"LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE! BARON AND BELLA, I WISH YOU THE BEST. "I BLESS YOU TWO... with pain."

Bella was dumbfounded, her eyes wide, as she saw Jayden at her wedding.

"Jay..." Even being so shocked, Bella couldn't call Jayden's name perfectly.

Jayden walked towards the altar. "Ouh... don't cry. It's your happiest day, Bella," Jayden said, mocking Bella, who was so tense that she looked like she was going to cry. "Why are you so tense looking at me? It's like looking at the dog you killed come back to life."

"Hey, what are you saying? This is a wedding!" Bella's mother, Allen Moore, snapped at Jayden.

"I know, ma'am. I know. It's your favorite daughter's wedding; that's why I came and brought a gift for her."

Noel came forward with a thick, medium-sized bag and handed it to Jayden.

Bella looked tense, as if wary of what Jayden would do next, but Jayden simply untied the bag and spilled the contents in front of Bella.

"Akh!" Bella was shocked, and the people watching were also dumbfounded at the contents of the bag, which were small bullets. But they were not ordinary bullets, as they were made of gem stones and precious metals.

"Jayden, what are you doing?" asked Bella, upset because she felt she was being played.

But Jayden approached her and said, "This is your wedding gift from me, Bella. Don't you always like things that shine and glitter? You don't have to be skeptical; it's real."

A few bullets rolling into the guest area made some guests pick up the objects and whisper. "This is real!"

"This is real too! This is real sapphire!"

"It's real gold!"

Bella looked tense, but she was also confused because people kept saying that what Jayden had brought was real gold and gem stones.

Where did Jayden get all that from? He was even the one who couldn't buy Bella a bottle of perfume.

"Bella, this one is special for you," Jayden said, without Bella realizing that he was already in front of her and giving her a small box. "I hope you always remember me as the person who once loved you."

Bella rudely removed her hand from Jayden's grasp.

"Stop playing games, Jay! What do you want? Don't ruin my wedding!" said Bella, snapping.

"I didn't mean to ruin your wedding, Bella! Why do you keep thinking badly of me? Is it because I still look like a poor man in your eyes? Even when I've dressed so well and brought you such a lavish gift?"

Someone grabbed Jayden, but when Jayden turned his head, he was given a hard slap on the cheek that made him take a few steps back.

"Ah...!"

People were shocked and stunned to see Desmond Moore, Bella's father, slapping Jayden.

"Young master!"

Jayden's three bodyguards were ready to advance, but Jayden held them back with a hand gesture. Meanwhile, Jayden was still looking down, wiping a little blood stain from the corner of his lip that was torn from a very hard slap.

"Amazing. The force of your slap is impressive enough to tear flesh, Mr. Desmond," Jayden said, not looking hurt. He stood back up straight and looked at Desmond, who looked disgusted with Jayden.

"Don't mess up my daughter's wedding and get out of here! You are not welcome as anything here!" said Desmond, in a threatening tone.

Jayden returned Desmond's gaze coldly, but then he spoke casually, "I didn't come as a guest. I don't want to be a guest at the wedding that almost killed me," Jayden said, then approached his three bodyguards to open the boxes he had brought.

The contents of the boxes that Amber, Noel, and Brian had brought surprised everyone who saw them. It contained jewelry, diamonds, and a set of luxurious wedding dresses, along with dazzling glass shoes.

It was like the gift that the prince gave to Cinderella, but for what reason did Jayden bring such expensive things to this place?

"This is what I came to this place for. Mr. Desmond, this is my marriage proposal to your daughter, Medeia Moore."

Everyone was shocked; they immediately searched for the whereabouts of Medeia Moore, who looked faint among the many elegantly dressed guests. She was Desmond's youngest child and had gone unnoticed due to her speech impediment. She had always been seen as the family's disgrace, but what was this extravagant proposal? Wasn't it inappropriate?

"Medeia, are you proposing to Medeia?" asked Bella, looking annoyed and unaccepting. She walked up to Jayden and spoke in front of his face. "You want to marry that kid who can't talk?"

"Why do you look upset? The man who is going to marry your sister is none of your business, Bella."

"I'm not upset!" Bella denied. "You guys are so compatible anyway. In the end, a useless person will be matched with another useless person." Bella said, mocking him in a smug tone.

Jayden acted casual and said, "It's good that you think that way." Then Jayden approached Medeia, inviting her to walk up the path to the altar so that everyone could see them.

Jayden then kneeled down in front of Medeia, who still looked confused.

"Medeia Moore, I hereby propose to you to become a bride in the Gracehill family."

Jayden showed a diamond ring to propose to Medeia, but that's not what stunned Desmond, Bella, and the others.

It was when Jayden mentioned the name.

"What... did you just say?" Desmond approached Jayden. "Gracehill?"

"Did he just say Gracehill?"

"Gracehill... the famous conglomerate in this town? It's even said they're the richest business family in our country!"

"No way. Is that man from the Gracehill family?"

The sound of people made Desmond even more upset. He pulled Jayden up to stand facing him.

"Answer me, loser boy! What are you talking about?" Desmond snapped, but Jayden replied casually and released Desmond's grip on his shirt collar.

"Why are you angry? Did I not make myself clear?" asked Jayden, "I said I proposed to Medeia Moore to become a bride in the Gracehill family; that means I'm a Gracehill who will take her into our home."

Jayden looked at Desmond with open eyes, as if emphasizing what he was going to say next.

"Mr. Desmond, I am Jayden Gracehill, the only son and heir of the Gracehill family."
