CHAPTER 238

Jim’s fist moved faster than the wind. His fist went right through the thickest region of the web and pounded the Night Spider’s face.

The Night Spider’s defense was no joke, but still it couldn’t last more than three hits, and its head exploded to bits. The venom in its fangs fell on the web and began to melt the web.

“Was it preparing to release venom soon?” Jim wondered. “Good thing that I reacted quickly, or more people would have died. Anyway, now there’s only one beast left.” His gaze soon shifted toward the Flame Monkey that was still squatting near the cave entrance. Jim saw no fear in its eyes.

“I will fight that as I said I would,” Joker voiced his mind and then rushed at the monkey.

The Flame Monkey turned its tail and ran into the cave.

“Is it running away?” some men sneered. “Did it shit in its fur after seeing two of its friends die? What a coward!”
