CHAPTER 245

“Shit. Did I send him flying toward the tomb?” Barbosa quickly rushed over to the tomb as fast as he could. Along the way, he was forced to stop as his heart began to hurt. He coughed some more blood. (Is this because of that last attack I took from him? It’s more potent than I thought.) He bore the pain, wiped his mouth clean, and then got going. He soon reached the destination.

Luckily, he could see that the tomb’s door was still closed.

However, what he didn’t expect to see was that Jim was already up on his feet. He was bleeding from not just his eyes, nose, and mouth, but from almost every pore in his body, and yet, he was able to stand and glare at Barbosa.

“I-Impossible,” Barbosa rubbed his eyes and looked again. Jim was still standing. How was this possible? “My attack must have destroyed everything in his body and even cooked his bones. He should be dead before his body could even hit the ground. Not only is he still breathing, but he’s also able to still stand and look at me
