Jayden Knox got married to the daughter of the prestigious Bassett family, Olivia, and he loved her wholeheartedly. Only if he knew her true intentions towards him. After spending a memorable night with his lover, he woke up the next morning and realized it had been another by his side. As a punishment, he was sent to join the military as mercy instead of being imprisoned. Working hard, he made a name for himself, the god of war himself in a man's form, that was how people had viewed him and he became the supreme general. But one day after bringing victory to his country once more, a call came through for him and he found out his parents had been killed and his sister was to be sold off at an auction. The real identity of his wife came into view as he learned she had conspired against his family with the four giants of the city. She had purposely drugged him that night and place another woman, Elsie Holden, her cousin by his side to get rid of them. Without thinking twice, he flew back to the city to rescue his sister. A lot had happened within the five years he was away, his family had been destroyed by those who set him up, the Innocent had been wrongfully punished for spending the night with him, not to mention the death of his parents. He had been gone for too long, fighting the wrong battles, it was high time he faced his enemies head on and got his revenge. Secrets are unveiled, new love interests sprout and the wish to protect a woman to his grave grew in him the moment he found out the secret she had been hiding.
