CHAPTER 26

Somewhere in the city.

Lola stopped by a street that looked like an old slum. Wearing a mask, she roamed through the dirty streets and arrived at a brick house that was covered with bloody signs on the outer walls.

She entered the house, and showed a visiting card to an old lady who stretched her palm. Lolo put 3000 dollars in her palm, and then she was taken to a specific room where living chickens were hanging from the ceiling. In the center of the room, a naked man was sitting in the center of the room with magic circles painted all around him. His nakedness was covered by the feathers of the chicken. His eyes were completely white.

“1155 days,” he uttered. “That’s how long it has been since you’ve last visited me, Lola Adams.”

Lola was visibly surprised. “Priest Enron. I—”
