The reptilian just leaped, and it moved so fast that Scarlet couldn’t even see her movement.Heath’s sensitive and sharp eyes were able to see its movements, but his body still wasn’t fast enough to react in time. By the time Jim and others reached the fourth floor, it was about six o’clock in the evening.The fourth floor was not a big place. It looked like they were all inside of a giant cave.There were only rooms and huge corridors, and the ceiling was only forty feet high.Almost every room in sight was locked.“Is this really the fourth floor?” Doug wondered, clearly feeling anxious. “It feels more like the first floor, though there are multiple pathways to choose from. Jim and others entered the inn, which was the same inn where Demon Dwarf regularly visited.The humanoid lizard was the only person currently inside the inn. In fact, the reptilians were incapable of displaying human emotions on a wide scale. After spending some time in the inn, Jim and others moved on to other rooms.Most of the rooms were locked, so they had to pick the ones that were open. There were some people living in some of these rooms, having fun one way or another. There were those who lost themselves in alcohol, drugs, and sex. There were some that were playing games online.Did all these people also make it to the fourth floor? Jim didn’t know because neither Joker nor Scarlet or others in his team recognized any of these people.They came across some men in the corridor, but none of them seemed friendly. They didn’t say a word and just walked by.It was really weird the way these people acted. Something about them gave Jim the feeling that they were not in their right minds.
