After spending some time in the inn, Jim and others moved on to other rooms.Most of the rooms were locked, so they had to pick the ones that were open. There were some people living in some of these rooms, having fun one way or another. There were those who lost themselves in alcohol, drugs, and sex. There were some that were playing games online.Did all these people also make it to the fourth floor? Jim didn’t know because neither Joker nor Scarlet or others in his team recognized any of these people.They came across some men in the corridor, but none of them seemed friendly. They didn’t say a word and just walked by.It was really weird the way these people acted. Something about them gave Jim the feeling that they were not in their right minds. It’s as if some part of their souls had been permanently damaged.Jim kept walking, and they soon reached the Auction Hall whose doors were wide open. The audience in the auction hall saw the old auction manager sweating and were astonished by it. How come the old man who was a veteran warrior who had endured many battles in his long life be afraid of such a young man?“Master Vince is sweating?”“He looks like he’s unable to move. As Jim basically harassed Vince, no one stepped forward, and so Nero took it upon himself to do the job.Nero did not move an inch. Out of his artificial eye, an invisible laser bolt flew at Jim in the blink of an eye.BOOM~~!!It collided and caused a mini-explosion, creating chaos all around the hall. Everyone gave up on the auction and began to run away because they couldn’t even tell what caused the explosion.As the smoke settled quickly, Jim was still standing. His vivre sphere was surrounding him and his friends. They all looked fine.Vince was the only one who suffered from the explosion, but Vince was strong enough to bear the pain and injuries. He quickly moved away.Jim didn’t bother to mess with him anymore because he knew who just attacked him. And so Jim turned to face Nero.“All of you also get out,” Jim told his friends.They listened to him and ran away.Nero shot laser bolts at them, too, but Jim created a wall of energy that covered the width of the hall and so bloc

Jim stood fine after blasting Nero’s body to bits, but Jim’s spine was hurting more than he thought. “His last attack was dangerous. I guess he’s not totally trash. Mm?” he looked down, where there was a tiny metallic sphere that started beeping. “Don’t tell me, this is…”[It is a bomb!] Joe shouted. [Run away!]Jim, however, felt like there was no time for that. He immediately punched down on the spherical ball just as it exploded.BOOM~~! PEWSSHHH!It resulted in a strange noise like when a tire or a balloon was being deflated. Jim’s punch was able to literally nullify the explosion by breaking apart the explosive molecules with his combination of somatic vivre and psychic vivre.If he hadn’t done that, the explosion would have easily destroyed half of the fourth floor and killed many people.Nevertheless, the explosion managed to hurt Jim’s hand which looked bruised. He didn't have many friends growing up, but if you ask Shiney, she’ll tell you that he’s the kind you wouldn’t want to end your relationship with once you get to know him. Then again, Shiney might give you a different answer depending on the mood she’s in when you ask her.

They can see a tiny spider that’s dancing on its web under a tree shade from hundreds of meters away.
