“Please give me a month’s time. I’ll pay you the money no matter what,” the old man fell at the financier’s feet and shed tears. “Please don’t take away my home. My wife is sick. She won’t be able to survive the cold in the streets, so please have mercy.”

The financier indifferently adjusted his glasses. “We do business, not charity. How did you even get here? Security!” he yelled.

Every floor had multiple security guards, so two guards dressed in blue uniforms rushed over the scene and grabbed the old man and dragged him away even though he was still begging.

“You should have thought about this when you took money from us,” the financier coldly stated. “Draknor Finance doesn’t even wait a single day for those who can’t pay their interests on time.”

The old man was being dragged right past where Jim and others were.

“That’s enough,” Jim quickly intervened and stopped the guards. “Let go of him.”

“Who are you?” the guards asked in a neutral tone.
