CHAPTER 385

Gabe stayed behind on the Beast Woods and arranged planes for the slave survivors. Though there were still many survivors of the beast brotherhood, none of them fought him because many had tried and miserably failed.

He commanded the animals on the island to help the wounded, even the ones that were part of the brotherhood.

Instead of killing them, he took pity on them and gave them another chance. Some thanked him, but some still saw him as an enemy that must one day be erased.

After taking care of things on this island, Gabe was heading back home on his wolf Reyes. He was holding a blue crystal in his palm. It was colder than ice. It wouldn’t have stayed solid at normal temperature and would have evaporated into thin vapor, but Gabe was keeping its form intact with the help of his energy.

“A piece of the firmament,” he smiled slightly. “The proof that we live in a sealed system. I’ll show this beautiful piece of handiwork to Mia and the kids.”
