Jim returned home at around nine in the night. He put the big wooden box in the bushes before entering the house.Lola and Marc were having dinner. The next morning.Jim woke up in Rena’s bed, feeling very relaxed and cozy because her bed felt like heaven. The drink recovered his lost vitality after the three-hour long intense workout.As Jim was going out of the house, Shiney was standing by the Lamborghini as if she was waiting for him. Out of the four gangsters, Jim beat three of them out of their senses, and then took the fourth guy with him. The fourth guy kept telling Jim he’d give money. “Trust me, dude. You don’t want to do this. Our gang is filled with over fourteen guys. Some of them even went to jail. You don’t want to mess with them. Just take the money I’ll give you, and we’ll not come after that woman and her son anymore.” “I can’t trust the words that come from the mouth of a gangster,” Jim was frank about it. “I’m going to have to deal straight with the boss of your gang for messing with my people.” “Your people? Jim started receiving pop up messages before him in midair, with Joe appearing in the form of a disembodied spirit. Joe looked like a boy in his teens, though his voice was rough like that of a grown man.“Are you, Joe?” Jim asked, looking a little surprised.“Yeah,” Jim kept swimming along the edges of the pop-up box and eventually settled on the top, as if sitting on it sideways, while facing Jim. Jim soon returned to Julia’s house.Both Julia and Daniel were happy to see that he wasn’t wounded anywhere. Jim told them, “I dealt with the gang, and they won’t come after you for money.”Julia was very much relieved to hear that. “H-How? A few hours later.One officer went into the cell and practiced his stick-hitting skills on Jim. The sticks weren’t thick but slim and flexible, so they didn’t cause any damage to the bone. However, they hurt the muscle, bringing very much pain.Jim currently didn’t have anything but his underpants on. His body was completely covered in bruises.One officer after another, they took rounds to beat him.The detective that brought Jim to the station finally entered the cell with a stick in his hand.“Is this your righteousness?” Jim asked while bleeding from the mouth.The officer frowned. “Do you know what a couple of my colleagues were saying an hour ago? They were planning on taking you outside tonight to fuck you and then kill you.”Jim was startled to hear that.“I’m nowhere near as bad as them,” the officer continued talking. “They would even fuck dogs or pigs when they’re horny.
