CHAPTER 46

Jim returned home at around nine in the night. He put the big wooden box in the bushes before entering the house.

Lola and Marc were having dinner. Seeing Jim, Lola quickly said, “Where the hell did you go, Jim? The day your wife leaves the country, you go out and have fun! How many women did you sleep with?”

“Huh? What nonsense are you talking about?” Jim snorted. “Don’t talk rubbish without any proof.”

“Then tell me where you went? You disappeared in the morning and are returning right now,” Lola blurted. “What does a man like you who has no friends or job do for twelve hours outside?”

“That’s none of your business, Aunt,” Jim retorted. “Did you ever tell me what you do outside the house? No, you don’t have to tell me, but do you at least tell your own husband where you’re going?”
