His fist was clenched tightly and without thinking, Jack Harrison stepped forward with his voice louder and more confident than he felt.

"Leave her alone!" Jack Harrison shouted as his her was racing as he stood between Mrs Sophie and the bandits. The bandits stopped for a moment while turning to face him.

The orc snorted while the half dragon tilted its head and making a mocking sneer. The orc then let out a low rumbling laugh.

"Look at this little hero, you think you can stop us boy" Emerick the half dragon hissed while showing it tongue.

Brave but foolish, what do you plan to do?, fight us?, with what?" Emerick the half dragon said with a low growl.

Jack Harrison mind raced for a second and he began to doubt his abilities.

What was he doing?, these weren't just any thugs, they are powerful and dangerous creatures and he had no experience fighting anyone let alone bandits like these.

But the system was awaken inside him and a force pushed him forward and his body began to tense and he could feel the energy within him.

The system screen appeared in front of him once again but this time it is more urgent.

URGENT MISSION: PROTECT THE HOST

STRENGTH BOOST: ACTIVATED

ENERGY BLADE: ACTIVATED

SONIC BOOM: READY TO USE

Suddenly Jack Harrison felt his hand vibrating as something strange happened. A glow began to show from his palm and within seconds the energy blade was on his hand while it was glowing with a bright and blue light.

"Holy smokes!" Jack Harrison said with excitement.

The power was speaking like electricity as it formed a solid shape in his hand, a weapon he never thought he would hold but now it felt natural.

"What the hell is this?" The bandits laughter stopped. The half dragon eyes narrowed as it mocking sneer faded and he began to take a cautious step backwards.

The orc seemed not to be shocked as he is now eyeing Jack Harrison with more interest than before.

"You've got truck up your sleeve, I see, but you're still not match for me" the orc rumbles, as his words sent shivers down Jack spine.

But Jack Harrison stood his ground as he hid grip tightening on the energy blade. The weapon was filled with raw power in his hand and despite the fwe still in him he felt a sense of control as if the system was guiding him, showing him how to harness the energy inside him.

"Last chance, leave us alone or I'll make you" Jack said with confidence, the orc began to laugh again.

"Make me?" With that the orc charged forward while swinging it's massive arm down at jack with a force that could have crushed him easily. But something strange happens. Jack was fast enough to step aside and the orc arm slamming into the ground with a loud crash. Before the orc could recover, Jack Harrison immediately raised the energy blade and slashed the orc arm.

The blade sliced through the air quickly and cutting into the orc thick skin. A roar of pain erupted from the creature as it stumbled backwards while holding it's wounded arm.

Emerick the half dragon snarled as he stepped forward with fury in his eyes, his claws was raised and ready to strike but Jack Harrison was ready.

His mind seems to connect with the system and guiding his actions. In a n instant Jack activated Sonic boom, sending a shockwave of energy out from his body. The shockwave hit the half dragon chest and sent him flying backwards and hit himself on the wall with a heavy thud.

The half dragon was in the ground and was unable to move. The crowd around them gasped in shock and surprise while some of the where backing away in fear while others watched in surprise at the sudden display of power.

The orc now bleeding from its arm as he stared at jack Harrison with boiling anger.

"You little...." Before ethe orc could finish the statement, the energy blade in Jack Harrison hand became brighter and Jack Harrison immediately steps forward and standing tall despite the fear he was still having inside him.

He wasn't going to back down." Get out of here, this is your last warning" Jack said coldly as he stared directly into the orc's eye.

The orc hesitated as he glanced at his fallen companion and then glanced at the blade in Jack's hand and for the first time there was uncertainty in his eyes. With a low growl, oron the orc took a step back while holding his wounded arm.

"This isn't over boy" he said before spitting on the ground before turning to retreat.

Emerick the half dragon was still shaken by the shockwave as he got back up to his feet while glancing at jack with anger before leaving. Jack Harrison stood for a moment as his chest was beating fast as the adrenaline coursed through him.

Slowly the energy blade vanished out of existence and the weight of what just happened began to sink, Jack turned to Mrs Sophie who was still on the ground staring at him in disbelief.

"Jack, what just happened" she whispered as her voice was filled with shock.

"I don't know, but I think I'm changing, it's all over now, Let's just go to the execution " Jack Harrison said calmly even though the adrenaline was still I his veins.

Jack Harrison extended a hand to Mrs Sophie to help her get up for the ground.

Mrs Sophie was still frozen in shock as her eyes widened with disbelief as she glanced at jack face and searching for an explanation.

She had always known him as a quiet and timid boy and too weak to defend himself let alone stand up to dangerous bandits.

But just now she had witnessed him fend off an orc and a half dragon as though it was a piece of cake.

They had underestimated him, and the signs that they were wrong glared outrightly at them. “I think we should put him ahead of us, he seems to have very powerful skills and is more skillful than we thought. We are definitely going to need him in this place with unimaginable and unthinkable creatures.” One of the female soldiers suggested with a whisper, but her words taunted Dwayne who didn’t want to hear anything of that nature. “Nonsense! Of what use is he? Just because he got so lucky and managed to slay the cave destroyer, you suddenly think he is valuable. He is just a human with no ability, and there is nothing more to that!” Dwayne stood on his resolve not to let Jack become more relevant than he was. He could already see that the group was beginning to have double feelings about his leadership, and he didn’t want

He could see from the look in her eyes that she wanted him to pass judgment that would be very easy for him to endure. She was even willing to let go and hoped that everyone was going to agree with her even though she knew that it was going to be very difficult, especially with Sierra involved. Lucy was the most compassionate among all the adventurers, she was merciful and kind, and could easily be made to react to very emotional situations. Her eagerness to react to such things made her the weakest link to them, and she didn’t even know about it. “I think we should let go of everything he has done to us, and move on. He got very close to it, and as soon as the soldiers moved farther away from the tomb, he reached into the tomb and grabbed the medallion with both hands, lifting it up into the air until everyone could see it. “This is the medallion?” Sierra said with a smirk on her face while she stared at the bronze medallion that was visible to every other person. Jack saw this and wished he could make a move, but the soldiers standing close to him were already aware that he could not be overlooked and had their eyes on him. “What did you say?” “I said that they are going to raise the spirits of the dead kings! Also, apart from the doors and windows that were almost in total ramshackle, the floor of the castle had a lot of cracks which meant that there could be the presence of an earthquake which left it in that condition. “I am scared, Jack.” Lucy lamented again after she got no response from Jack who only looked at her without saying a word. “It’s okay, Lucy.
