Adam Fights the Ordog King

The swing of the black trident, which was as large as a 400-meter lighthouse, sent the Jagers flying. The wind caused by the swing of the trident made the dust around the portal billow upwards. As the Ordog king swung his trident again, the few people who managed to dodge began to attack him. They created a combination attack to tie up the giant's body.

"Hey, tell me how!" Adam tried to think. He was still looking for a way to defeat the Ordog king.

"You have to die." Paladin gave the answer.

"What do you mean?" Adam was confused.

"I will drain my maximum power into your body. Your body will be destroyed, but you will evolve into a being equal to Paladin. Let's call it half-Paladin. With that evolution, you can use up to 80 percent of my power. That's enough to kill him." The Paladin had finished explaining.

Adam felt indecisive. He who had just come back to life did not want to die again. Moreover, this time there was no guarantee for him to live again. Paladin left the decision to Adam. But if that man did not choose that decision, then it was certain that the entire world would end!

The few people who tried to stop the Ordog king's movement failed. Within seconds, a black beam shot out of the giant's eyes. The laser beam destroyed everything in its path. Instantly, several people within the laser's aim died. Seeing that, a very loud scream was heard from the female Jager. They were so scared that they covered their ears with both hands.

"We can't win!"

"I don't want to die here!"

"Help...!

"Save me!"

The cries of the frightened people rang out all the way to Adam's place. They all felt panicked. In fact, the power of the Paladins they had could not keep up with the Ordog King.

Once again... the Ordog King attacked. This time he raised his trident up. Then he slowly slammed the lower end of the trident into the ground. A loud bang sounded like a gong being struck. Within seconds, an enormous wave of energy rolled through the air around him. Everyone around the Ordog King was burnt to a crisp when hit by the energy wave. Adam, who was behind them all, chose to flee. He made a replica of a motorcycle using his light.

"It's bad!"

"That wave could kill us!"

Adam rode his motorcycle very fast through the rubble. But the speed of the energy wave propagating through the air far exceeded the speed of his motorcycle.

"Adam! Decide right now!"

"Choose! Do you want to die and kill that thing, or do you want to die by that energy wave?!"

The Paladin had shouted in the man's heart. The energy wave was already a few meters behind Adam. It asked him to decide quickly.

"Adam!"

"What is your decision?!"

"Hurry!”

The back of the motorcycle was slowly destroyed by the energy wave. Adam knew that he was going to die soon. And when the Ordog King stomped his trident into the ground again, a second wave appeared. The speed of that wave was twice as fast as the first energy wave. In the blink of an eye, Adam was gone.

The Ordog King cried out in a very loud voice. If you can imagine the combined voices of lions, robots, and giants in a fantasy land, that was the voice of the Ordog King.

He was cheering loudly because he had successfully killed all the Jagers. However, just as he was about to head back into the portal, a shot pierced the king's right shoulder. The boom of the weapon sounded very loud. And the Ordog king saw who it was.

"You?!" He finally made a sound.

"You finally spoke. I thought you couldn't speak before!" Adam floated in the air. His feet seemed to be resting on a slab of light. The diameter of the slab was about two meters.

He was back! This time he carried 80 percent of the Paladin's power. Adam wore bright white armor on his body. The armor was so extraordinary that it was even equipped with a pair of bright white wings. In his left hand was a sniper rifle made from his light element.

"Malachiel!"

"Hi, Gideon."

The two greeted each other. Adam's mind was now 80 percent merged with the Paladin's. He recognized Malachiel's name. It was the name of his Paladin. And Gideon was the name of the Ordog king.

"Insolent! You dare to meddle in human affairs?!"

"I'm an ordinary human. Don't blame Malachiel, you freak!"

Gideon was annoyed. He had not expected to be stopped by Malachiel, a Paladin who was a subordinate of one of the archangels. But the giant was undaunted. He was still bigger than Adam. And he didn't fight Malachiel directly. He was only fighting a weak human who was pitied by the Paladin.

"Looks like I'll have to kill you!" Gideon's tone was heavy and piercing.

"Come forward!" Adam answered him loudly.

Right in front of the dimensional portal, the two began to attack each other. Gideon used his trident. He swung the huge weapon at Adam. Fortunately, Adam was able to dodge easily.

"It's like a mosquito fighting with a child. Can we just skip to the killing part?" Adam was feeling impatient. He continued to fire at Gideon with his sniper rifle. Despite being hit several times, the Ordog king still did not give up on attacking Adam. Actually, who is being pitied here? And who was in the corner?

"Malachiel, you're making me so angry!" Gideon swung his trident again. This time it was not a wave of energy, but a giant ball of energy that kept growing. The ball of energy was a kilometer above Gideon's head.

"What is that? Is he trying to make a meteor?" Adam sensed something not good from the black-colored energy ball. Plus, it was currently the size of a football stadium.

"He wants to destroy the entire city and bury you alive. That ball of energy has a power equivalent to ten nuclear bombs. Twenty times more powerful than the explosion at Hiroshima." Malachiel sensed that the energy accumulated in the ball was coming from inside the portal. And it was negative energy.

"How do you know about Hiroshima? I thought the Paladins were blind to human knowledge." Adam felt confused.

"We have a walking library. Does that make sense to you? And now, can we get back to focusing on the creature?" Malachiel felt his chat with Adam was a waste of time.

"So, what's the plan?" Adam listened.

"It's an ancient technique I once learned from my mentor. He was one of the archangels. I named it the time and space catalyst." Malachiel was using power he shouldn't be using.

"Then let's do it quickly!" Unfortunately, Adam agreed without knowing what a time and space catalyst was.

Malachiel took over Adam's consciousness for a moment. He connected 100 percent of his consciousness and mind with Adam's body. Through the man's medium, Malachiel created a white energy glow that grew larger and larger around his body. One hand pointed up, then the other hand pointed down.

"Law! Catalyst!"

Runic symbols appeared in the sky. They formed a circle. Its size covered the entire area of the city. When Gideon dropped his energy ball, Malachiel activated his runes to prevent that.

And...

Boom!!!
