Chapter 206 - Someone to talk to

Timothy’s eyelids fluttered open, and a sharp pain radiated from the back of his head. The cold, hard surface beneath him sent chills through his body. As his vision cleared, he realised he was lying on a concrete floor in a dimly lit warehouse, his hands and feet bound by ropes. The sound of dripping water echoed around him, and he struggled to sit up, his movements sluggish and uncoordinated.

“Finally, I was starting to think I'd have to hire a marching band to wake you.” Connor’s voice, now clear and cold, pierced the silence. Timothy’s eyes snapped to the source of the voice, finding Connor standing a few feet away, his face shrouded in shadows.

“Adam” Timothy breathed out, his eyes full of disbelief as he stared at the man in

front of him. “What am I doing here?”
