Chapter 208 - Midnight Blue

The pity that Timothy felt was now creeping away, and the anger quickly rushed in to fill the void it left.

“You tried to kill him!” Timothy exclaimed, the words alone tasting bitter in his mouth. He had underestimated just how callous Connor really was.

"Yes, and his mother as well, but they escaped. But let’s just say I made even,” Connor. grinned.

“What do you mean by that?” Timothy asked. At this point, he wasn’t. sure that he was ready to hear any more of Connor’s answers, afraid of what else he would reveal.

“Let’s just say that a premeditated car crash can easily be made to look like an accident." Connor said nonchalantly as he shrugged his shoulders, “I learned a lot from those ‘bad’ people I was mixed up with. The Russians truly know best.”

All the color drained from Timothy’s face. He couldn’t believe how Connor talked about his family and, much worse, the things that he did to them and was still planning to do to Jason. Timothy thought for sure that there was more to it; he
