Chapter One Hundred and Thirty Six - Evil

Jason had finished work for the day. He closed his laptop and began to pack his things up when he heard a knock on the door.

“Come in,” he said.

The door opened, and Reuben walked into his office. He wolf-whistled and looked around the place in awe as he walked inside.

“What’re you doing here?" Jason sighed

"Hey, don’t you dare even pretend like you aren’t happy to see me” Reuben warned Jason as he plopped down on the couch.

“Oh my gosh, Reuben! So nice to see you, what brings you around these parts,” Jason exaggerated in a high-pitched voice.

Reuben smiled. “Now that’s more like it.” He stood up from the couch and then sat on the spinning chair. “I’m here to check on you. Your latest episode gave me a real scare, even though I should be used to you getting into trouble by now,” Reuben said as he spun around in the chair.
