Chapter One Hundred and Thirty-Two - Drinking Problem

With a sense of trepidation, Jason raised his hand and knocked three times on the door of Mr. Harrington’s office, the sound echoing throughout the hallway.

“Come in,” he heard Mr. Harrington say from inside the office.

Jason opened the door and stepped inside the office. “You asked to see me, sir.”

“Yes, Jason, please take a seat." Mr. Harrington gestured to the seat that Jason had sat in the first time he was in his office.

Jason took the seat; the velvet cushion that once felt comfortable now seemed to suffocate him. Jason didn’t need to be told why Mr. Harrington called him here; he already knew why. It was evident in the disappointment in Mr. Harrington’s eyes.

“Jason, I think we need to discuss your problem." Mr. Harrington said, his face solemn. “And there’s no need to be ashamed or deny it; I’m not judging you.”
