Chapter 13

Hello, my name is Jason Lewis. I'm an orphan who lost his parents at a very young age and since then I've been struggling to make ends meet. I've suffered from all kinds of bullies but Dominic was the worst of them all. I wouldn't have survived through this semester if I hadn't met this mysterious gaming system. At first I had to just play games on this mysterious gaming app to earn money but as time went on it developed into something else. The games began coming into reality and I had to play at the expense of my life.

As I remained huddled with Paulina my entire life story played before my eyes. The footsteps were approaching rapidly and there was nothing I could do at that moment. I couldn't run since Paulina was already unconscious. It would be very difficult to carry her up.

"System, do you know how to help me from this predicament?" I quickly asked the Enigmatic System but it didn't reply. There were no pop up notifications so I felt the system was telling me to do my missions
