CH109: Life-threatening Tasks

"Jed," Eric's words sounded more like a gasp and Jed looked up. When class ended, he went back to checking the stock market again.

He was dealing with the dividends he had accrued and investing in new stocks, some of which just showcased in the stock market when Eric called.

"What?"

He didn't receive any response and that was when he saw Eric and Ben staring at his notepad in shock.

"What's wrong? Did I get the calculations wrong?" He collected the notepad with a frown on his face but the notepad was snatched back.

"You already solved the assignment?" Eric was dumbfounded. He looked at Jed's meticulously written words on the notepad sheet and felt awed again.

The last time they saw a scene like this was that night at the dorm when they were preparing for their mock tests.

There was not a single criss-cross on the clean sheet indicating Jed didn't make any mistake in what he jotted down.
