Joe Cole had just dumbfounded everyone with the bold move of actually calling Cilla's parents. But what was more stunning was how Mrs Winthrop spoke with him, there was so much reverence and respect from her while Joe Cole spoke to her in a calm and confident tone. The questions and murmuring took their toll among the groups, everyone wondering who Joe Cole had become and how he gained such levels.
