Chapter 38: A Charity Case At An Elite Auction!

Joe Cole's meeting with the First Lady was another ball of excitement for the event. They spent some time together to chat before the auction officially began.

President Carter worked to give him some tips about the event and how it works, and also some advice.

“Events like this are the perfect opportunities for you to meet great people and build strategic connections. Keep that in mind as you join these folks in the bidding war.” He advised the young trillionaire who already set his vision on making strategic connections.

“Sure, sir,” Joe Cole answered, “I can feel the disdain from them, it's like they want to throw me out of this place.” He added, making his case on his earlier observations of the people.

President Carter chuckled, he wasn't surprised at Joe Cole's complaint. It was a usual thing with the elite folks, they love to have their exclusive moments with only people of their caliber and Joe Cole was far from that to them.
