THE NEXT DAY along with Fyn and Frost, I went back to the cottage to take the essential stuff I needed because from that day onwards I was mostly supposed to be in the quarters of the Intelligence. That is when I confronted another letter from Levine. The fourth letter. I immediately hid it in my pocket before Fyn or Frost could have an eye on it.

After a long time.

I thought.

I supposed he stopped writing because he knew the risk of those letters going to other people’s hands. But at the same time, I knew Levine wanted to say something to me and he didn’t say it because of the fear he had to that risk. I sensed it by his letters.

This must be really important.

I thought again while clenching the letter from outside of the pocket. So as much as I wanted to read, I thought being careful was important.

Let’s go to the Quarters first.

I said to myself. I packed really soon and while I did, Fyn approached with the fur ball in his hands.
