Chapter 18

2 days later.

4th. Nov. Wednesday.

Getting all dressed up for school, I heard my doorbell ring making me wonder who it was.

Things haven't been going exactly well for me in the past day since Vida's disappearance.

It's confirmed that Liz and Ashley were avoiding me, but I can't blame them. I couldn't. They obviously don't want to get caught in the crossfire.

I tried to push Karen away, but I guess she's the only friend who has ever cared about me. I still feel alone though, and the eyes staring at me scream hatred, and 'you deserve it!'

But I won't fall for any of those shit. I can't let them get to me, and they literally can't because my cards against them are still active.

Taking my bag, I came out of my room and slowly started walking downstairs, taking one step at a time like someone who has been paralyzed for a long time.

"Is there any reason why you would want to interrogate my daughter?" I heard my mom's voice.

My impulses were deadlocked causing me to be stone-still.
